how is Teghan pronounced?
I like Tea-Gan not that spelling obviously but thats how i'd say the name.
Taylyn is a pretty name, for a girl? Because the other 2 names to me are boy names, and Taylyn is a girls name.
I like them, but Tanner is pretty common.

Tanner is a masculine name I don't even care for on a boy. Do you seriously want to call your daughter "one who tans hides?" LOL Not being rude ... I just know I wouldn't. ;)
Taylyn just appears created. Can't say I like it.
Tegan (said TEG-an or TAY-gan) is a lovely Welsh name, assuming that's what you were going for with "Teghan," but I don't care for the misspelling at all. The H is really unnecessary, and makes an already-uncommon name even more difficult. After all, I have heard many unfamiliar with this mispronounce it like Teagan (TEEG-an), so I think the name is unusual -- and beautiful -- enough as is. ;)
Hope that helps!

Paige, I like all 3 names, none of them are too cheesy! I really like Taylyn and Teghan. They are both wonderful and unusual names. I like the spelling of both of them, a lot of the answerers didn't care for the spelling, but I like the unusal.
I have a traditional boy's name, and never mind it. So, I have no problems or concern about naming a baby girl Tanner. I think it's pretty, and you could use Lynne as her middle name. Tanner Lynne, sounds good to me. Whatever you decide I am sure it's going to be perfect. You have a beautiful baby girl, and enjoy your precious gift.

Don't really like Tanner, sounds boyish. Teghan sounds kinda weird to me.
Taylyn is kinda cute, but the spelling makes me think of a Talon, like an eagle's talon.
Sorry to sound so negative, but I'm just being honest!

All are a little unusual for a girl. Tanner I have heard of for a boy. Teghan I have heard of once for a girl. Taylyn is very original, I prefer just Tay. Totally your choice of course. Good luck on choosing. (None of them are cheesy).

Tanner - all the Tanner's I knew were boys.
Taylyn - Its ok, but it sounds like a name the kid would get tired of by the time she is 20.
Teghan - I like it, but prefer the spelling Tegan.
Some recommendations:
Taryn
Tarrah

Tanner sounds like a boy's name
Taylyn is cute - I know someone with the name Tailyne
Teghan is too complicated for the poor child when she's in school.

Tanner - sounds kind of masculine and particularly masculine and canine (my male dogs name is Tanner)
Taylyn - its one of those names that is trying to be trendy but the y's just make it look messy (maybe Taylin or Talyn instead)
Teghan - no....just dont do that to the poor child

Teghan? I have a sister named Meghan, so when I see "Teghan," it just looks like a misspelling of my sister's name.
I'm not too fond of Taylyn either. I really like Taylor. Taylyn sounds like you're trying to be trendy and fit in with the other "lyn" names---Jaelyn, Kaylynn, etc.
Tanner is very cute!
Good luck and best wishes to you!
