That's one possibility. Another reason for a very fast rise is a molar pregnancy. Here's what I found.

What can a high hCG level mean?

A high level of hCG can also mean a number of things and should be rechecked within 48-72 hours to evaluate changes in the level. A high hCG level can indicate:

* Miscalculation of pregnancy dating
* Molar pregnancy
* Multiple pregnancy

Twins that are concieved clearly generally bypass generations. So in case your mom is a twin its plausible your going to have twins yet once you or your siblings are twins its much less possibly. i'm 8 weeks pregnant with my 2d and am exhibiting in basic terms slightly too so thinking an identical element. Cant wait to pass to the healthcare expert to work out if theres one or 2 in there.
