I need some suggestions for girl names...both first and middle. Nothing that starts with an "R" since that's what our last name starts with :-) Thanks!

I haven't seen my friend in over ten years, but, she's my best friend. It's a friendship that began with our grandparents, then our mothers, now us. She e-mailed a couple weeks ago, to introduce me to her new baby girl, Kelly Gabriela. She also mentioned that Kelly had to stay hospitalized because she had intestinal blockage. My aunt just e-mailed my mom, and told her that Kelly passed away. I want to call my friend, but it just doesn't feel like it's the right time to do it yet, I just wouldn't know what to say. I do want to e-mail her, but can't seem to find the right words.
I know I shouldn't be asking this, but, what can I say to comfort her? It's not a situation that I've been through, and God forbid I ever have too, I pray that He watches over my children everyday.
Does anyone know of a poem, or something special that I might say to her at this difficult time. My mind is so blocked right now, I don't want to say the wrong things.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 6 month old son who coughs an aweful lot. Everyday and every few hours. Lately he has even been sucking in air afterwards for a few breaths. Does anyone know asthma symptoms? Thanks so much.

I understand why some girls can have a low self esteen. But i absolutely hate it when girls just sit around and say ughh i'm so fat. It drives me nuts why cant they just be happy with themselves? How can i get to see them as the beautiful perosn they are?

I've been told to sign up for Childbirth classes by the WIC office. Of course I'm going to do it, but is this the same as Lamaze or is that a different class I'll have to take altogether?

I know some cramps during pregnancy is normal. but i always seem to have cramping in my lower abdomen later in the day. I have no bleeding and last time i called my office they said as long as it goes away with a postition change it is ok, but this is every night. Anyone else have this?

I'm nearly 30 weeks pregnant, I have worried so much about miscarage right from the time I found out I'm pregnant.

I read too much about listeria laying on your back for too long, overheating etc etc. I'm paranoid about how long I cook food for and how hot it is and I won't eat seafood except for a very small portion of fish a week.

My ultasounds at 12 and 22 weeks show baby is very healthy but I wonder what causes some healthy pregnancies to result in still borns or birth defects?

Hey I had my gorgeous little boy 6 months ago, I feel ok should I start going to gym hard out now to loose the extra weight I still have on me or is it unrealistic to expect to be back in shape 6 months after a c-section?. I didnt breastfeed either. I just find it hard to leave my little man to go to the gym each arvo when my husband gets home also we do go walking as a "family" each day. I have a very weak knee so what are some good things to do at the gym???

Our 9 month old daughter will only fall asleep at night in our arms. We would like to get her to fall asleep on her own in her crib, so we started the Ferber sleep method. Every night we do her usual bedtime routine of cereal, bath, and reading a book then lay her down in the crib. We usually wait to start the routine we she is tired making it at different times everynight. It's been a week now and there doesn't seem to be any improvement. Should we maybe start the bedtime routine at the same time every night?

I had one period since I had my son
and now this month just a tiny bit of spotting one week for 4 days super light spotting and than a week later for 2 days a little more but thats it and i have been feeling bloated and my body feels achy and im tired and my lower back has been really sore... anyone had any of this happening?


I know im gonna get asked this...
(I breastfeed for the first month and than he just didnt wanna just breastfeed anymore sometimes he takes it and sometimes not so most of the time im bottlefeeding formula now)

A couple who I know just had a baby which they named 'Jax'. I have a feeling that once he starts school, especially high school, it's going to be brutal. I can see a certain phrase being yelled out everytime the teacher calls out his name.(use your imagination) Don't people think about these things when naming their children?

My 2 year old, he's been doing this on and off for the past few months, but now it's been happening about 4 weeks in a row. At night, he goes to bed around 6.30pm. As soon as I go to bed, around 10pm to midnight, 10mins later, he'll scream like some one has stabbed him. I run in there, and he's sitting up in his bed, smiling, and says 'Hey!' then points to something in his room e.g. a horse on his curtain, and says 'horse' very proudly.

Anyway, this has been happening like clockwork (almost) at midnight, then 3am, then 5am. It's not just once at these times, it's probably 4 or 5, with about 10mins in between.

It's definetly not pain, teething, anything like that, I am 100% sure. And generally I'm quite firm with parenting, I have my rules, but I am quite flexible to allow for various things, especially fun!

My partner works long hours, so I don't like to use 'controlled crying' as much as I have found it to work in the past with him. The trouble I have tho....

My husband and I had a discussion that if I could not conceive would I rather have a close friend conceive for us or adopt. I said adopt, he said have a saragent birth that way it has both of our DNA. He thought it would be selfish of me not to. I just felt that it would be harder for me knowing some other women is bonding and delivering my son or daughter rather than adopting someone elses all together. What do you think?

Here we go. First of all since the day that the child was born the father denied her. After she was a year and a half is when he decided that he wanted to be in her life. Since then it has been nothing but he coming around when he felt like it. Telling her that he would be there and then never show up and leaving the mother to deal with a child that was crying and not understanding why her father didnt want to see her. And the main reason for this is what do you do when the father calls the mother and tells her that he is giving up his rights and wants nothing to do with her or the child. And after the mother telling him that she will sign the papers but that he would still have to pay what he owes to his daughter and him telling her are you really that jewish, you should have been burned with the rest of them. The mother throughtout the years has never done anything to him to hurt him. Even when he wasnt paying she was still allowing him to see his daughter. Please help.

im 7 DPO and had quite a high temp rise today which im hoping is good?? anyway my hens night is on this saturday and AF is due on monday, went to docs today to see if i can get a blood test so i know if i can drink but they said i cant get one. Is there any tests that would show up if i am preg before my hens night???? thanks
