Pregnancy & Parenting - 25 September 2007

We've tried for 3 months and used the ovulation kit twice. It was positve on the 10 and we had sex through the 14th and now on the 25th my period has come down. I calculated that since my cycle was 34 days. On the 9th I decided to test and still no luck and I used the kit. I came on on July 21 and then again on August 24 and now September 25, 2007 which is a 31 day cycle help I want to be pregnant before this year is up. I have a good man on my side who wants a baby I think worst than me. Neither one of us has any kids so if anyone have any advise tell me when to test again for ovulation and or give a lot of helping hint to make this thing work. Thanks in advance.

I know that the baby is covered under my policy while we are still in the hospital. After I leave the hospital, will the child still be considered under my policy, or will he need his own. If he needs his own, does anyone know how long I have to get him on my insurance.

I don't want some type of internet answer that you find off of a website and I don't want an answer that you find from a book (I have already read plenty.)

I want to know from people's personal experiences, do labor contractions actually have to be painful to classify as labor contractions?Also, what else (if anything else) do you feel a long with them, such as pain in your vaginal area, ect? If you have never given birth, please do not answer. I need to find this out asap. I am 41 wks preg and very curious.

i'm 14. i've never had a boyfriend, yet ive had oppurtunities, i didnt want one. most all of my friends have had boyfriends, and done quite a few things naughty, but ive NEVER wanted to do anything like that. i'd love to have a relationship, but is it really true that guys my age only want the relationship to get something? that's my question.

i love my son with all of my heart. he is all i have. i never had any brothers or sisters, and my parents died when i was 14. i had my son at 17. but my boyfirend left me bcuz he couldnt hadle a son. but i needed my baby, i had no one, and i thought, i knew, my life was perfect with just him. but now he is 13, and he has a girlfriend. i am happy for him bcuz he works out and cleans his face and tries to style his hair perfectly everyday instead of not caring about hygine and being lazy. he is mommys little man :) but lately he has been with his girlfriend a lot, and i think they have been making out and i feel really weird about it. i am kind of jelous, but i dont want to interfere bcuz he has a lot of respect for me, and i respect him and his privacy. he even asked me if it was ok for him to have a gf!! i have never heard of that before...ususally they just hide it from the parents! anyway, what do i do to stop feeling this way...also, is this normal? i am 30 not btw

We are trying to work with the school, but they won't talk to the stepmom even if I am trying to do whats best for the child. Is there anyway in the courts or system for me to be able to talk to the school legally?

I have been bawling my eyes out for hours now because I noticed my 3 day old' son eyes had a yellow tint in his eyes.
Its obviously jaundice but the nurse didnt seem to concerned. He has an appt tomorrow anyways but I feel guilty because they saY poor breastfeeding can cause this. I have been trying very hard but my breasts have been raw and painful so I have been doing one breast instead of two and then supplimenting if it gets too painful. If he falls asleep I didnt push him to drink more. Did I cause this? Now he is sleeping alot but maybe that is normal? He is my second so you think I would know..Plus im really tired...Am I just freaking out?

well i love this girl, since 03 months. well i came to know from someone that she just had an abortion. i m sure she will deny it if i ask her coz this baby is not mine. are there any kind of test or medical examination that can let me know if she had been pregnent in the past or if she had an abortion. if yes how soon can i have these test's before the body recovers leaving no tracable signs.

My foster son,who's in the 6th grade has to do a report.In the report he has to say who it was,where he was from,what he was doing at the time of his death,who found the body,when he was found and how!It required a lot of research,which I did most of.I'm helping him sum it up and showing him where what goes and why.I do keep remindeing him he is writing the REPORT his self.I just want to know if I'm helping out to much?
This is a first for me,being that my daughter hasn't even started school.Parents what do you think?
