I think you're very smart and have good judgement - the only reason you feel this is odd is because kids now-a-days are sinking lower and lower. Just be yourself and stick to your morals!

My sister is 16 and hasn't even kissed a boy yet. I reckon that its great she's waiting for a guy who is special and not rushing into to anything, cause as a teen you can get carried away very quickly thinking its love when it really isn't.
You are only 14 and have plenty of time left for that sort of stuff.
Most teenage boys are most interested in the physical side of a relationship, but this is not true for all of them. Find a guy you like as a friend first and develop a relationship based on friendship rather than physical stuff, which will still be available to you no matter how long you wait.
Lastly, if yourfriends feel ready to explore a relationship, good luck to them, but you don't have to follow until you are ready.

Ummm....listen, I'm 16 and Ive never had a bf or did anything naughty. Mostly because I'm not that type of person. I have had opertunities as well but I turn them down. There are some guy's who want more out of a relationship, but many guy's just want a girl for their personality....give it time, you will find him. Don't rush into things, and don't turn into your friends...

That's not odd at all. That shows an amazing amount of maturity, actually. The fact that you realize that you don't have these feelings, and you don't pretend that you do to fit in is a good thing. When those feelings do come, you'll be a step ahead, because you will have been focusing on your schoolwork and your friends--which are more important right now anyway. You have plenty of time to be boy crazy...I'm 23 and I'm still boy crazy! lol...Good for you!

Everyone is different, including boys your age, however, exploration of the other sex is heightened by the many hormonal changes teenagers go thru. My advice to you is just have fun being a teen, don't worry about rushing into a relationship just to fit in. Men come and go, find yourself first so that you will know what qualities you want your mate to posses, then pursue a relationship.

Listen I am 18
and yes, when i dated a few years ago thats all I wanted
sex and then not see the girl again until the next time
over time I kinda realized that its nice having someone you agree with on so many levels, if you have someone you truly connect with its better than sex (which you should not rush into) but sex is still important to me, I could not be in a monogamous celibate relationship.
so as guys get older they do want relationships but we still want sex and one night stands too.
I hope this helped
please no one give me **** for this

Nope, I was the same way. I was not interested in just anyone, and I'm darn happy I was picky, my now husband is as perfect as I could ask for.
A lot of guys your age ARE interested in sex, because it's something relatively new to them. But not ALL of them. And a lot of the ones that are interested in it, by no means is it the only thing they want.
It's okay to be picky, but you don't have to be single until you're 25 either, men never really change :D

Hi a lot of boys at that age are looking for sex, but there are also guys out there that were raised with morals. I am 26 now and in high school I dated my first love for 3 years and we did not sleep together until well in to our 2nd year, we were each others first. Not all boys are looking for that but it is good to keep your guard up.

Nah, yer fine!
A lot of teen girls worry that there's something wrong with them just because they have never had a boyfriend... they're teens for pete's sake! 14 years is NOT a long life. lol. Now, if you were a "Forty-yr-old Virgin" that'd be a far different story, but you're only 14. Don't worry about it, girly. There's nothing wrong with you. Just wait it out until he comes your way. :)
