Why don't you wait until she is older and see if she wants more holes. I am not against piercings or anything (I have 7 in my ears), but what is the rush? When she is 15 (or even 10) she will ask you if she wants them and then you can be the cool mom who said yes. Don't rush your 5 year old into the "crazy" teenage stages!

I wouldn't. The reason I say this is because the more holes you put in your ears, the more irritated and harder to heal they become. I had my second hole pierced when I was 16, and it never healed properly. Even to this day, when I put earrings in, it gets inflamed and itchy. That may not happen with your daughter, but I wouldn't want to chance it with a five year old. She'll be pulling at them and irritated by them if it does happen. But that's up to you, and everyone's experience is different. I'm sure it would be pretty, but you just never know. Better to be safe than sorry...

i have never seen a child that young with their ears pierced twice.
you never know if she really likes having them done, i had mine done when i was a baby and never wear ear rings. Personally I think you should wait until she is older and has a more voiced opinion on getting them done.

I think you should wait a few years when she's older. Like maybe 10 or 11 years old may be o.k. I think you should wait til she asks or something.

I don't personally like earings on infants at all. And double at 5 just seems to much to me. Why not wait until she's old enough to fully care for them herself?

No, no, no, no!
It's "bad" enough you did the first one without giving her a choice, but two is too much. She is still too young to make that decision on her own. You are trying to make a fashion statement for her in a bad way

my daughter just turned 11 and i got her first set at 6mths
ive been trying to get her to let me get her second set done, but nooo noooo she is scared
im practically forcing her, but shes afraid of any pain,
ive never actually seen a 5year old with 2 pairs of earings, but if your daughter lets you, then why not?, i think it will look cool

Yes, they look cute pierced, twice as cute double pierced.
Perhaps you could film it and put it on youtube.com?
