It's fun and interesting to them to hear what they themselves sound like, to see the effects of their screaming, and to just get attention that way. As annoying as it can be, it's a good sign your baby is socially developing well!

To them they are playing and having fun to where we think it is out of control. My son shouts all he wants to. They just like playing!

i think that babies are made to cry loud so they can be heard when there mother is away from them or is sleep in the baby wakes up

Its not the volume its all about the frequency, the tone is designed to get your attention so you will tend to the baby. Its human nature.
