A lot of women these days have kids because they think it will help them mature and straighten up their lives. But is this fair to the children?

Having children to straighten up, that's a good one, LOL. Honestly, for most people having children when they're already in a bad situation will only make things worse. There ARE women out there who've accidentally become pregnant while in bad situations who HAVE turned themselves around but it's incredibly hard. Children are way too much stress. It's easier to make a simple commitment to yourself, rather than bring another MASSIVE responsibility into your life.

No, it's not a good reason, but neither is having a baby to fill a void in your heart or to try to salvage a relationship, but I've heard that some people do it for those reasons as well. It's only unfair to the child if the outcome is poor - as long as the parent steps up to the plate and becomes someone their children can be proud of, then the reasoning that got them there isn't really important.

no but if a woman has a baby and this motivates her to turn her life around then great as long as she is a really good,loving devoted mother.it is important for a child if possible to have a mom and a dad,sometimes that is not possible because of accidents,war or illness.if the father can not or chooses to not be around then he or she still needs good male father figures around.not your boyfriends either playing the dating game and having a lot of guys around is not good either.instead like your dad,brothers or uncles or cousins if they are good role models and can be trusted 100%.some women do this and are great at it but just remember babies are a lot of work,cost a lot of money,they get sick and they are not always cute and sweet smelling either,and they grow up.good luck.

i dont think it is. if people are dumb enough to rely on a baby and think it will toughen them up and help them think straight well then yea theyre wrong cause babies unintentionally push all the wrong buttons that make the adults go crazy. the stress from all of that craziness just makes life worse than it was from the start.

absol.utly not! it is like some people just DOING IT to get the attetion from the OTHER Man! absolutly NOT this is not fair to the child for them to be used!

Of course not, but if they had any common sense to begin with, they wouldn't have babies for such a silly and selfish reason.
