I love the name Gwendolyn! We are expecting our third child-second daughter-TOMORROW (being induced on due date) and her name is going to be Gwendalyn Rose. I think that it will grow well with the child into adulthood, and it is not too trendy but is not unheard of either.
I think Kylie Gwendolyn sounds better than Gwendolyn Kylie.
My husband loved the name Wendy, and we decided we wanted her to have a more formal name and use Wendy as a nickname-that is how we decided upon Gwendalyn. I think that your daughter being named after her great-grandmother will be a great honor.
There are many nicknames you could use for Gwendolyn. Our daughter is affectionately known as Gwendy! But Wendy, as mentioned above, as well as Gwen and Lyn are other options.

Gwendolyn is a better name than Kylie. I hate that name. It is over done and spelled so many ways there is going to be mass confusion when these kids grow up. I like Gwendolyn as a middle name better. Claire Gwendolyn is cute!!

I personally dont like the name Gwendolyn but one of my favorite girl names is...Kylie! So I definitly think you should go with Kylie Gwendolyn.
