I am 17 weeks 3 days pregnant. I haven't felt any movement, maybe until today. I felt what seemed like a gentle poke in my lower belly, but from the inside. I've had quite a few feelings like that since then and also feelings like theres something rolling around inside. My question is: is this the baby moving? Its my first pregnancy and I've never felt anything like it before. I dont want to get too excited in case its just my food digesting I feel!! LOL! But I also dont know what I should be looking out for as far as baby movements...

My daughter is 12 months old and I am needing some advice on how to get her off the bottle. I am a first time mom and i have no clue how to make this an easy transition. I tried yesterday giving her her milk in a sippy cup for her dinner bottle. She drank alittle and then wouldnt drink anymore. She gets 3 bottles. One in the morning one for dinner and then one before bed. Please help how can i even begin this big step.

I have a 4yr old boy. The mother has 3kids my boy and a 2yr old boy from a different Father and another one on the way from the 2yr old boys brother. Complicated i know. Well she doesnt work. Lives of the system.She doesnt have car, her phone # changes weekly. Her place is a mess and i just wish she would see it on her own that my boy would be better of with me. I have tried to get help but they say i make to much. I just want to do the right thing. Nothing can be cool, it has to explode with here. The latest thing is i have a girlfriend that lives with me and i trust her with everything. She watches my kid from time to time when i go to the store or things like that. My baby momma is saying that my girlfriend is spanking him and im pretty sure she would not do that and if she did she would tell me. I asked my girlfriend if she spanked my kid and she said no. I believe her. Now my baby momma wants to do monitored visits. I just want to do the right thing. What should i do?

i got a tattoo on my birthday at the end of aug. and it needs to be touched up, im just wondering if it would harm anything to get it touched up? i dont know if im preggo or not. it might be my new BC pills

could the ink in that cause anything harmful?

The Parent's as Teacher's rep that comes by our house always commented on how big our son is (he's currently four). She mentioned that she read a study once that stated you can measure their height when they are three years old....then double the inch's for their full height as an adult. I'm hoping it's wrong because that would put our son at about 6'9-6'10 when fully grown. I'm 6'1...wife is 5'11....father in law is 6'5...brother in law is 6'7...so the height possibilty is there. Just curious if any others had ever heard of this formula?

During nap time and night time, she removes it and has no problem with going number one or number two in her bed. Then, she cries and I hear her on the monitor. I go in and put another diaper on, change the sheets, yada yada yada. Is taping this diaper on my only solution??? UGGH!

We're ttc, and I DREAD going through another pregnancy with my SIL around. I know women like to discuss their pregnancy experiences, but hers were put downs and criticisms because she was just plain jealous I was pregnant- she is almost 42, has a 12 year old, and her hubby says NO to another, even though she's wanted one for years. it was always- 'Oh, you look like you've put on too much weight so far- how much have you gained? I only gained 20 lbs.' 'Maternity clothes already? I didn't wear them until 6 months along'.

I'm not being overly sensitive, the little witch had the audacity Xmas eve to slap the side of her thigh, point at me and tell me 'You're getting really fat right there'. I told her in a sarcastic voice 'Thanks for noticing'.

A bunch of it later came out as outright lies, like she let it slip a few months ago she put on 40 lbs with her pregnancy- i didn't point it out to her.

She's such a rude bossy patronising *****!

She's on my back all the time. "Oh its wrong to co-sleep with a 10 month old baby. He should be in his own room and you should do controlled crying. Oh he shouldn't be eating that he should be eating this, oh he should be weaning off the breast now he doesn't need breast milk at nearly 10 months blah de blah de blah"

Not only that by she came round today and had the cheek to tell me my house smelt of dogs!

Yes we do have two dogs but I am scrupulously clean about cleaning up after them so I was mortified! She then started on about how "unhygenic" it was to have dogs in the house with a baby and how I should have the dogs rehomed.

To be honest I *am* thinking of rehoming them (too much work tbh now) but it has nothing to do with her!

Why is this woman so bloody rude and interfering?! Can I make her leave me alone? Everyone in the area complains about her and a friend of mine changed surgery to get away from the bint!

Okay here is the problem there is a very close family friend that is 86yr. She has a bassinet for me that she completely redid. Sanded it down repainted it got a new mattress and redid all the fabric around it. The problem at hand is that she sister was born a blue baby and they put her in it and took pictures. Now I really do not have a problem because everything is new and redone!! My fiance on the other hand is flipping out and said it is not coming to our house!! help what would you do

Here are the stats...

My husband and I have been TTC our first child for 26 Months. I have PCOS and don't ovulate every month, so that makes it difficult. I have decided to keep trying on our own until 1/1/08 and then if we have not conceived yet, I will be visiting a specialist and asking for Clomid.

I ovulated this month (I'm currently 5 DPO) but yesterday I started what seems to be AF very early. I'm only on CD 18! What do you think? AF early or possible pregnancy?

I'm completely drained and I feel so guilty about being so exhausted and tired - I feel like I'm being lazy! Is there anything that helped you or you think may help me to gain some energy back!? I go to bed by 9 or ten and up no earlier than 4:30am depending on if I'm nannying or not.
