I'm going grocery shopping and my daughter is now eating "big people food" What are some quick easy to make foods and items i could pick up for her? She's got 4 teeth now so she can chomp up quite a bit of stuff.

Here are some quick foods my son likes: Imitation crab meat or cooked bay shrimp (sounds weird, but they like it and you can pull a little right of the bag for lunch or snack) Peanut butter & apple Yogurt with fruit & cereal on top Scrambled eggs String cheese Smoothies Edamame (this entertains him as much as it serves as a snack) Veggie burgers Fish sticks (buy the "light" ones - they are a little healthier) Bagel or English muffin pizzas Even if you're reaching for chicken nuggets or fish sticks, no matter how rushed you are you can keep some frozen corn, peas or carrots on hand and nuke some to offer with lunch. Keep a supply of applesauce & canned fruit too. Of course it doesn't replace fresh fruit & veggies, but it works in a pinch.

Snacks:
Target has great mini-cracker sandwiches - cheese, peanut butter, and for a treat, s'mores. Raisins and bananas are great. Goldfish crackers, any fresh fruit, Cheerios, granola bars - anything that can be cut into or bought in child-sized pieces that isn't dangerous such as nuts, hot dogs, etc. Lunch meat is good too - both in the large size so they learn to bite, and smaller pieces they pick up one by one. And cheese. (:

Meals:
Anything you eat other than again things that are dangerous due to possible allergens, bacterias, choking hazards, etc. Just put into small enough pieces she can eat them.

Good luck! (:

Whatever you eat, make some for her too...sandwiches, pasta....most of the "quick" food is really unhealthy, such as fish sticks, fries, little TV dinners.
snacks...goldfish are a MUST! haven't met a child who doesn't like goldfish...or Cheerios...something dry, and not too messy for snacks.

Noah likes flour tortillas, black beans, lima beans, cooked carrots, bananas, watermelon, graham crackers, saltines, cheerios, and cheese. At one, I'm going to start him on whole milk.

You could make grilled cheese and them cut them into strips so they are easy for her to pick up. My daughter loves them like that.

We do a lot of quesadilla type things, you can hide things in there like little bits of red peppers, to get them used to the tastes of different ingredients. Our kids have also became quacamole fans.
