Pregnancy & Parenting - 11 June 2007

I have no kids but my boyfriend has two. I love them to death but after a couple of days, I am ready for them to go home. I feel bad because I want to be a mother one day but I don't know if I have the patience. How will I know if I am ready to be a mother (emotionally) or do I get those instincts once I become one?

Ok so, I am 14 years old and I have a very long and boring summer ahead of me. Im signed up for no camps and nothing to do. My entire summer is blank excepet for the second week in july when I am going to Brazil for a week. I don't know what to do. I feel like Im wasting my life away not doing anything. I hate it, and I'm constantly bored. My parents won't let me babysit and I can't go anywhere cause they both work. My friends are all at camp and doing other thing...I don't know what to do. I am also really low on cash. I live in a really really wealthy area and my family is well off but they never give me money. I need a job, but no one will employee me. So bottom line...what should I do with my summer?!?!

Ok, this is my first pregnancy and I have been looking through these Q&A's and I am afraid I might have harmed my baby. I got highlights done like the beginning of my 12th week. Only because I was on bed rest for 2 months and wanted to look my best when i returned to work. Was it to soon? Could I have harmed my baby?

she is 7 months, she had an ear infection 2 1/2 weeks ago, she was on antibiotics for 10 days but since then she has been so cranky. She won't let me put her down she just wants to be held. She used to be content just playing on the floor in in her bouncy or jumperoo. She will be content for a few min now and will scream till i pick her up.
She has been crying for 2 hours now, i have tried rocking her putting her on the floor, laying her in her bed and letting her cry, rightn ow she is in her exersaucer crying, she was just playing for a few min, now she is screaming , any suggestions?
i'm gonna go get her.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and for the past week or so i have been having discharge( just clear). The DR told me that it was probably the baby sitting on my bladder and sent me home. Well, for the past 2 days i have had discharge( white and thick). Do you think that this is a sign im loosing my plug.

I am TTC (11 months now) - on my second cycle of clomid, I ovulate, but my cycles have been irregular - I have been charting faithfully for 4 months now, and have never had a "dip" after ovulation. This month I had a HUGE dip- from 97.8 to 97.3 on 6 dpo,followed by bad AF cramps on day 7 with my temp being 97.8 for a day, then 98.0-8dpo, 98.3 9 dpo, 98.2 10dpo, and today 11 dpo it is 97.9. I have cramps on and off, like AF, I did not have them day 8,or 9 but yesterday and today I do. I am so afraid to get my hopes up- alot of people do not believe in the "dip". I have also been having weird dreams, bad heartburn, a little nausea, and I am incredibly tired. My boobs started hurting 7 dpo and still do . I am not due for AF until Thursday. Does anyone have any views on the "dip" - did I get it twice, was day 6 a fluke (right below cover line)- or do you think my latest drop is because of AF? Please share...

I'm 12 days post c-section and I think the hardest part from recovering for me has been emotionally. The reason is because I have a two year old daughter and it hurts me that I can't pick her up and I think she resents me for bringing home another baby. So for me it's definitely emotional. As for the physical part the hardest thing for me has been the sore abdomen. I feel nothing on the incision area but I'm still really sore around my lower abs. What has been the hardest part for you?
