"Valantine" is common? Thats a shocker, I always thought names like Sophia, Emma, Madison, Ashley were the common names nowadays, but apparently the lists have been wrong.
It always strikes me as funny when people try to be "original" and name their daughter Sophia or Madison.
Anyway, some suggestions for your friend:
Justine, Corinne, Amara, Zinnia, Xanthe, Antonia, Zoe (semi-common, but still really cute)
Or if you want to go off of her parent's names:
Valencia (Spanish name, not sure if that makes a difference), Justine, Victoria, Veronica, Jessica, Julia
