How early in the pregnancy did you start to have sciatica pains? I'm 11 wks. with my third and it was so bad I went to the doctor and she confirmed it.

After you form the bone spurs that interfere with your nerves at the base of your spine (usually with the first pregnancy) you can get sciatica anytime your weight goes up 10-15 pounds more than the level you can handle. It doesn't help if that weight is an amniotic sac laying directly on the hip bones, causing 3 times as much pressure than if it were distributed across your entire body.

Get a recumbent exercycle. It's the only thing that will help. And you'll HAVE to stay off your feet for the duration, so that you don't make the bone spurs and long-term sciatica worse.

I've been battling sciatica for close to a decade, after a minor car accident, and I had tried everything the doc threw at mepills, injections, special mattresses This guide was extremely eye opening and within one week of the regimen you gave me I can barely feel any discomfort. You have no idea how much of a relief it is to be finally getting rid of a pain I've had to bear for so many years.

It can happen at any time during pregnancy, mine started around 13 weeks. If you have trouble sitting, try sitting on an exercise ball if you have one (the large inflatable kind), it will help release some of that pressure. Good luck!

There is nothing they can do either. I have it now and if i lay on a certain spot i actually get paralized. I find taking a bath or using a heating pad works well
