All babies sweat in their sleep, some a lot more than others. You should always have a mattress pad (like the absorbing ones that u can buy for changing pads) under the sheet. Dress your baby cool for bed and depending on their age, you may not need to cover her. This is one of the things us parents have to deal with.

Do you mean the mattress itself is made with vinyl, or it's actually wrapped (from the manufacturer) in vinyl? If it's the latter, take the plastic off, lol. If you mean it's just a waterproof mattress, try dressing her a little bit lighter than you do. People mistakenly assume their children are more easily chilled then we are. With the exception of a new newborn (a month or so old), you should always dress your baby like you dress. If you're comfortable in a tanktop and shorts, she will be too. Put her to sleep in a t-shirt and diaper with a lightweight blanket. She'll be fine. :)

The vinyl isn't making her sweat.... many babies simply sweat a lot. However you should have atleast a cotton sheet over the vinyl, so that she's not "sticking" to the mattress.

put a mattress pad under the sheet, it will be a buffer between her and the sweaty vinyl.
