Pregnancy & Parenting - 26 February 2007

I had a tubal ligation 2 years ago and I am pretty sure my tubes were tied and burnt. I do not want anymore children, but I have been having weird symptoms. I have had some dull sharp pains through my breast for about 3 weeks, and I keep feeling bloated. I have woke up a few times feeling a little nausiated. I have been having some pains in my ovary areas. I developed a hemmeroid and the last time I had one of those was during pregnancy. My moods have been weird and I have had a slightly larger appetite, but I took a pregnancy test a week ago and it was negative. What the heck is wrong with me? Anybody have a clue?

I don't want answers like "My period was late" or obvious answers. I'm curious about unique ways you knew you were pregnant- even before you had a postive preg. test. (Not trying to be nosy, but I'm waiting to be able to take a pregnancy test- I have a feeling I may be pregnant- woo hoo!!!)

So my nephew is 6 years old, he has had a lot of things go on that most kids dont deal with (his father passed away a few years ago and now a friend of the family whom he stays with a lot is sick) I found out that he has been sneaking into my friends room in the middle of the night and sleeping in his bedroom then waking up before my friend even knows he was there. I also found out he has been having bad dreams about my friend dying... How do we deal with this? I feel he is too old to be sleeping in someone elses bed, but I dont know if under the circumstances it is ok? any advice is appreciated.
Also, although my friend is not his father, he may as well be since he has been taking care of him for the past 2 years (i am at school and his mom has never been in his life) and my nephew considers him like a father and his children like brothers...

I asked this earlier and got some good insight but would like more so that is why I am reasking it. Thanks

TTC for two years, both healthy and happly trying. minimal stress, in our lives both jobs are good and money is well.
WE are feeling like it may never happen, as each moth passes and I get another period. We are timing and having sex during my ovulation. I know I am ovulation by my cervical mucus and buy my menstral cycle. We are trying everthing, why can i not get pregnant. I was on the pill for Four (4) years and have been of it for two. My period is regular and my cycle is about 29 days long.
Anything would be great, advice, tips, hope, personal experiences.

I was wandering of all of you how man were spanked the old fashoned way: with your pants down and smacked on your bare butt. I was right up until I was 13 (I am now 17) sometimes I was spanked with a belt on my bare butt. My 3 year old daughter is most of the time good, but if she is bad I have to spank her and I do it that way with her pants down on her bare butt. So was anyone else spanked this way? On your bare butt?

My BF and I had unprotected sex on the 14th of Feb. I looked at an Ovulation Calendar today and that just happened to be my most fertile day. I was supposed to start my period about Mar. 1st. But what I thought was my period started on sat. 7 days early. On Friday I had a headache and stomach ache same as Saturday. I had heavy bleeding for the first two days then today it tappered off and it wasn't alot at all. Normally today would have been the heavy day. Now the color is pink I have been tired the last week or so and my BF thinks I am pregnant. We went and bought a pregnancy test but I am too scared to take it. Do you think this is implantation bleeding? My BF and I have done some research and it's hard to tell. I know we need to take the test but I want to take it when it's most accurate. When would be a good time to test? We both are adults and are in our 20's.

hello,

i am wondering if you can explain to me in your words your bbs hurting when in early pregnancy.

you see my bbs usually hurt on the perimeter only when touched but this time i can feel them without touching them and even when they were in my bra at night , they seem to be pulling down like they are too heavy?!?! please give me your output!

I'm 16 and pregnant, I know, spare me the lecture. I plan on receiving prenatal care through a clinic that is 100% confidential. I am not going to tell my parents until I start showing, around 3-5 months.

Both parents smoke in the house- ALOT.

I want to protect my baby, but I just dont know how!

Are my parents allowed to kick me out at this age?
If they do, I have a place to go- and it's smoke free.

I don't want to raise hell (reason why I dont tell them yet) because my mother is currently battling cancer (yes from smoking!).

How can I protect my baby?

I have a nephew that is 5 years old and he hardly says mom. That is all he says. I think he tries to speak other words but none of them are understandable. Is this normal? Because we already took him to the hospital so they can do some analysis, and they said that everything was normal.

Hi, I'm kinda a little freaked out right now and needed some feedback from anyone. I went the the bathroom about 3 hours ago and when I wiped I observed a clear/yellowish thick discharge that I don't think was a normal discharge. It had no smell and it was thick. The best way of describing it would be to imagine cracking open an egg. It almost looked identical to the egg white. I'm only 10 weeks pregnant, could this have been my mucus plug?

Our 8 month old has had a cold for 10 days and in the past two days when he wakes up on mornings, his eyes are closed shut with mucus. I've read up on viral conjunctivitis, but I'm not sure if we should be worried or what else we should be doing (other than keeping them clean with warm water. We have an appointment in 2 days with his pediatrician but in the meantime would appreciate if anyone with any similar experiences could share their wisdom.

yeah so i have been extremely extremely bitchy, my boobs are hurting constantly and growing, my stomachs all weirded out like idk rele wat to say about that. but yeah i am thinking if someone knows what that sounds like then yeah. and also one of my favorite foods pizza and ranch i ate today and almost threw up. i cant stand it right now and the thought of it makes me want to throw up. which is another thing i dont have like morning sickness like throwing up like i am just nauseated and i am pretty weak feeling throughout the day.
