I have not had this with all of my pregnancies, but with one of them, I had early breast tenderness. I was breastfeeding my first, at the time, and thought she was biting me. It turned out that it was pregnancy.

For me, it was kind of like a bad sunburn - they were very tender to the touch and things like the sheet, or my blouse brushing against them drove me crazy, and would wake me up from a sound sleep. I started wearing sports bras because it was very firm support, and pretty much kept them from moving around in any direction as I moved.

They also filled out faster that time, than in any of my other pregnancies, but I had discounted it because of the breastfeeding - the baby was starting to wean herself, and my milk production was unpredictable. But, it is a common early sign of pregnancy.

Best of Luck to you!!

Although some women can just have off months or cycles where they are more hormonal causing these pains.... it sounds like pregnancy boobs to me. Often women feel sharp or shooting pains, soreness of the nipples and a general feeling of heaviness. Now, this can happen with PMS but if you normally dont feel this way before aunt flow then it sounds like you may be pregnant. Another thing to take a look at is changes in your areola and nipples. The areola can become darker and the nipples can actually get a small amount of discharge this early... it is normal really! Also take a look at the breast tissue....can you see more blue lines under the skin? this is due to increased hormones as well as tiny spidery red veins just under the skin that can look like a rash. Hopefully this will help. Good Luck!!
