I had a tubal ligation 2 years ago and I am pretty sure my tubes were tied and burnt. I do not want anymore children, but I have been having weird symptoms. I have had some dull sharp pains through my breast for about 3 weeks, and I keep feeling bloated. I have woke up a few times feeling a little nausiated. I have been having some pains in my ovary areas. I developed a hemmeroid and the last time I had one of those was during pregnancy. My moods have been weird and I have had a slightly larger appetite, but I took a pregnancy test a week ago and it was negative. What the heck is wrong with me? Anybody have a clue?

There is less than a 1% chance of getting pregnant after having a tubal ligation, BUT, if you were to get pregnant you would have a 16-50% chance of having a tubal pregnancy, which could take longer to show up on a home test, so to be on the safe side you need to go for a blood test.

It is certainly possible, and I know someone to whom it happened. Evidently the sperm in this case did not take the ordinary route up the fallopian tubes, but made it to the upper part of the tubes in a roundabout way where they embedded in the tubes---otherwise known as an ectopic pregnancy. This is nothing to mess around with. You didn't mention missing a period, but if you have, especially with all those other symptoms, I would make a visit to your doctor very, very soon. You need to go to your doctor. Pain in the ovary area could be a cyst or tumor. I had 3 tumors a few years ago, and they felt like menstrual cramps while growing. Thyroid could be messed up also.

It's possible though, not likely. I'd get a pregnancy test if for no other reason than to ease your mind. Then...I'd make a doctors appointment. Maybe it's just a change in hormone production!

You've probably got some hormonal or thyroid issues. I'd see a doctor if I were you.
