Hi, I'm kinda a little freaked out right now and needed some feedback from anyone. I went the the bathroom about 3 hours ago and when I wiped I observed a clear/yellowish thick discharge that I don't think was a normal discharge. It had no smell and it was thick. The best way of describing it would be to imagine cracking open an egg. It almost looked identical to the egg white. I'm only 10 weeks pregnant, could this have been my mucus plug?

No it wasnt your mucous plug...when you are pregnant you just produce alot more discharge than you normally would...as long as it has no foul odor then its fine....nothing to worry about...Good Luck!

Ps alot of women experience this the whole nine months!

That is totally normal. More discharge will be noticeable throughout your pregnancy. I am telling you, this really freaked me out too when I was pregnant for the fist time. If it's green, or smells foul, contact your doctor. Good luck! **Your mucus plug will most likely have some streaks of blood in it, but not always.

no, the mucus plus normally has a little blood in it and from what it sounds like, just sounds like discharge, bring it up at your next appointment. but no, it doesn't sound like a mucus plug at all. plus some woman dont even loose it at all until they are at the hospital in active labor. it is way too early to be loosing it, so nope, sorry hun.
