Pregnancy & Parenting - 26 February 2007

My period was due today and never came. I only just did the test today and it was faint.went to the dr and had a blood test and another urine test. I have to go to the dr friday to see what the result is.

I broke up with my boyfriend 3 weeks ago.. The day before V-day I was crying and my best friend boyfriend was comforting me and one thing led to another. I was so stupid, dont know why he was even over tin the first place. Do you think there could be any chance it could be my ex's baby? I really hope so because I don't want to have to tell my best friend what happened.

Does anyone know any good parent chat sites? Id like to talk to other teen mums for Australia. I'm so scared and don't know who to talk to. My parents are going to kill me when they find out.

I received my first Depo shot in May of 2006 & the last shot I recieved was in August of 2006. I started having my normal period about 3 months after that & has been normal ever since. I know it can take a while to concieve after being on the depo shot but being that I am having a normal period, does this mean I am most likely having my normal ovulation? I have read the longer you are on it the longer it can take. I'm hoping since I wasnt on it very long that I will be able to concieve sooner. My fiance will be leaving for the army in three months & we hope to get pregnant before he leaves. Any information would be greatly appreciated as well as any personal experience similar to this that could inform us a little more. I'm hoping that we still have a shot before he leaves.

Well, I miscarried in June and I had a no pain no blood miscarriage at 3 months. We are TTC again and we've seen the doc and I will be seeing him again next month. I was just wondering what you ladies think. My last period was Feb 6, then before that Jan 9, before that Dec 15, before that Nov 21. Every month is different. We are considering all options to get pregnant but I wondering if any other women have experienced this. I dont hang around much women who "throw me off." so if you have any answers....

Are you more likely to fall pregnant on the day of ovulation or a few days before? Also if its a few days before would the due date be from the day you had sex or the day of ovulation?

Recently, my sons day care centre has expressed concern regarding my sons speech. At home he is fine, he can ask for what he wants and if he cant get it out, he shows me. At school apparently he does not talk to any other kids and doesnt interact. They say he should be asking them to pass him things and asking them to play with him, but he doesnt. They think he has a speech delay but I think he is just finding his feet at his own speed. In the last month he has started to say so much more. What should a 'normal' 2 1/2 year old be saying by now?

is this a real myth actually i think it is trueim pregnant and this is my second time well the first time i was my aunt had a plant i helped her replant it in a differ pot well i killed it she had told me that when a woman is pregnant she cant touch plants well my father had givin me a plant from my uncles funeral and i had watered it woke up the next morning and it had wilted all up so is that a myth or is it true does it have something to do with the hormones in a females body while she is pregnant

I found out today that I can't have a VBAC like I wanted. My daughter will be two months shy of 6yrs old when this baby is due and the ob doesn't think that's a wide enough timespan to try it. So I now have to have a scheduled csection. With my daughter I had it at 39 weeks but only because I had placenta margina and it was detaching before she dropped down.

What I want to know is for those of you who have had a scheduled csection...when does the doctor normally schedule it? Week 38 or 39? Or do they wait until your due date and have it done on that day? And in general, what is the most popular day of the week and/or time that they do it on? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm 17wks right now and my due date is 8/8/07

I've tried letting her "cry it out" but she cried for an hour and a half. I just couldn't stand it anymore and picked her up. Also, when I get her to sleep and lay her down, she wakes up within an hour. I breastfeed, and at night, all she wants to do is nurse.

There is this girl I know that has just underwent a few major surgeries one of which was a mastectomy, she was also told she had a benign tumor on the base of her spine. And also had other forms of cancer. Throughout the last two months she has been in and out of the hospital and on some instances was hospitalized for quite some time and was even said to have had her last rights read to her on a few different occasions. I have made friends with her over the internet I have never met her in person so I am not sure if this is all true or if this is being done for attention. She announced she was on chemo treatments after they found the cancer and what not but is now telling people she is pregnant but I don't know what to think of that after having a heart surgery, mastectomy surgery, tumor removal surgery, and also had a collapsed lung all in the last two months HOW DID SHE CONCEIVE IF SHE IS SO SICK?? i feel like she is lying but don't want to accuse what do you think

I know that if a mother has Rh neg. and her baby has Rh pos., it causes incompatibility. But I don't get it since the Rh pos can receive both Rh pos and Rh neg. So the baby should be fine. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
