Do they generally feel like pressure or sharp pokes? Just curious mostly.

mine moves a lot but i dont feel any pokings, just bearable moves here and there, only towards the end it gets harder to breathe. When the baby moves and pokes, u know he/she is awake and its the best time for u to bond and talk to him/her.

Well I think that everyones experience is a little different but I felt straight kicks with my son. Yeah it can also be pressure or feel like gas. Sometimes you can see your baby kicking or poking you. It's an amazing feeling. I have only felt a little movements while in this new pregnancy but I know the big ones are coming

For me, the first movements I felt were like gassy feelings. But, they soon turn into pokes and jabs as the baby gets larger. The weirdest part for me is when, later in the pregnancy, an elbow or a heel will "scrape" (for lack of a better word) along your stomach...feels very, very odd. My husband likes those, because they are so easy to see, even through my shirt....a lump just moving across my entire abdomen!

I never felt the 'butterfly' feeling that most describe. My first sensation was a gentle 'tap tap'. Mostly it feels like sort of, uh, like a sickening sharp pressure? If you've ever felt your intestines move and jolt about, that's what it feels like. I absolutely loved it. I miss being pregnant so much...

It feels like something poking your belly from the inside out. Sometimes it feels like a muscle spasm, sortof.

No. They usually feel like gas bubbles, or a fluttering. Like you have butterflies in your tummy. No poking or pressure at all.

Yeah Twimmommy is right. It's like you see a lump (the size of a small elbow) walking across your entire belly! It's sooooo cool!
