Usually you can't tell. I didn't have any spotting with my first pregnancy, but with my second i had cramps and a very small amount of brown spotting at implantation. Implantation usually occurs 6-12 days after ovulating, so you could egt some cramps or spotting, but most women don't. I think the figure is 5% of women have implantation spotting. You can take a test about 2 weeks after you ovulated, you should get an accurate result!

Implantation bleeding must have some kind of speck or spot of blood because that's what has happened... the fertilized egg implants itself into the lining of your uterus causeing a little bit of blood to be expelled through the vagina. So if there is no blood then it's nothing. If you get any kind of blood specks or spots around 6-12 days after having sex with or without mild cramping then you probably experienced implantation bleeding. There shouldn't not be a significant amount of blood, if so see your doctor right away.

I know this isn't what you want to hear but sometimes you can't even tell if implantation occurs. Some womes feel everything and some feel nothing. Some women describe cramps (like menstural cramps) slight spotting pink to brown, backaches, throbbing and all the other early preg symptoms. If you dont feel them it doesnt mean that your not implanting! Good Luck!

I didn't have any implantation bleeding. I didn't know I was pregnant until after I missed my period. Not everyone has symptoms or signs. Each pregnancy is different.
