I need some help with the sizes. I know when they are babies they start with 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, right now my son is at 10 in the little kids sizes. What comes next? What size starts the bigger kids shoes?

Is it possible for a baby who has absolutely no physical characteristics of Down's Syndrom to have it?! She is almost 10 weeks old, in the 50-75th percentile in all growth catagories, extremely alert, and very social. Her pediatritian is constantly telling us how she is amazed by my daughters strength, alertness, and progress. She holds her head up rather steady when placed on her belly, she lifts her bottom half of her body, and she has began to start to roll over from front to back (she would get it too if she could figure out how to place her arm). The reason I ask is because her grandfather is convinced that she needs to be tested because she usually sticks her tounge out all the time. If it were an issue wouldn't you think that her pediatrician would have noticed it by now... seeing as my daughter has seen her doctor more than she has seen her grandfather?!

I took a pregnancy test feb 2nd and it was positive. Went to the doctor on the 8th and had a vaginal ultrasound and they couldn't find anything. They said my uterus lining was thick and there was fluid but nothing else. . they said I could just be early or ectopic. They didn't see the baby in the tubes or anything either. I would have just missed my period about 3 days ago. Has this ever happened to anyone else and everything turn out okay? Hopefully I am just too early.

my daughter is 8 mos old. and I think she's teething, but she might have a cold or not be feeling good too. She is really grumpy, and her nose is running a lot and she's sneezing too...I'm exhausted, but i just want to make her feel better, do u have suggestions?

My wife and I just had our first baby seven days ago. I have found myself absolutely paranoid. The doctor said he was an extremely health baby and is actually stronger than babies his size and weight. Why do i feel so terrified with the thought of him getting sick with minor stuff like most babies...is this feeling normal???

Well im a 16 yr old boy and I need some help on how to tell my parents that I like the same sex and how I feel deeply about being the opposite gender. I am feeling really depressed keeping my feelings in every day and it is getting really hard and some times I get suicide thoughts. I would like to know how to tell my parents and what to expect from telling them. Also parents that answer how would you feel about this if I was you son. I had my first abortion in sept., everything was fine my period was normal.soon after that I had my second abortion in dec.I bleed for two weeks after that ,I went and had a checkup and the doctor said I was ok. I then stop bleeding for about two weeks .One day I was with my boyfriend and I started bleeding alot but It was rushing out like a water fountain it even pushed my tampon out it was so heavy, I had it all over my jeans, I also started to get clots afterwards since then It's been so heavy.My pads get soaked so fast within an hour .I don't know if this is normal or what ?

baby dosent want to open its legs should i wait till im about 8 months to start worrying or should i get the little things now like i have milk an things on hold at wic but i mean like clothes,i should have a place in about 2 months should i child proof everything what happens if i cant take being a mom i dont have alot of friends to take that mommy time off but ive worked with kids all my life just the thought of it being mine forever i mean what do u moms do to make it

I just found out a few days ago that I am pregnant, About a month along. I am Lactose intolerant. So as much as I try and stay away from dairy (very hard for me hehe it doesn't alway happen) My first question is can I drink Metamucil? Also can I take Gas-X? This question is for right now (c:
Second question is Is it safe to limit your Dairy while pregnant? I drink soymilk (Yuck)
I feel so dumb when it comes to baby's I know nothing about pregnancies. I am going to go out and get a book to read up but would be nice to know about the Metamucil think now hehe

ok well heres the deal..i have gained about 30 lbs in the past 8 months or so..ive had the worst headaches, heartburn, bleeding gums, my boobs have grew alott and they have stretch marck, my bellys hard, basicaly i just have every pregnancy symptom imaginable..should be simple right..im pregnant?? wrong..the last time i had sex was June 22 so if there is a ''baby'', then im like 35 weeks along..is it possible for a women to find out shes pregnant THAT late????
i heard ya know like 8 weeks but 35???
also if i am how am i gonna know when labors happening and all that stuff??
ive had my period all these months too.
ive had dr.s and just random people ask me when im due!!!!

the childrens ages are 6(girl), 5(girl),4(boy), 3(girl), 15mths(boy)....it always seems as if the two oldest are constantly fighting...when they are not fighting w/each one is telling a younger sibling to say or do something they are not supposed to do....how do i punish without playing favorites his kids vs. mine?

when i had my ultrasound they gave me a date of my baby how old it was. does this mean they dont count the 2 weeks since the last period when they give this date, this is the ACTUAL date of the baby?

I'm single and pregnant. Id be doing ok if i werent expecting a baby. My annual salary is $20,000. it comes to $1,500 / month AFTER taxes. im doing ok without having a baby, but when u factor in day care and diapers, i wont be able to even afford my rent. so i feel as though my only option is to get a lower paying job so that i can get welfare assitance with day care. Anyone else in the same boat? what should i do? thanks

We really like the name Mena. It's an Indian name as well as an American name. It's not over popular and is an older name.

We want a saint name for a middle name.

What do you think of these:

Mena Rose
Mena Rosaria (after the rosary)
Mena Maisie
Mena Margaret (Godmother is Margaret)
Mena Luce (or Lucia - both with Italian pronounciation)

At what age can I start giving my toddler (she's 18 months) regular, non-Gerber juice? I only give her 6oz. per day and it's watered down. She didn't have a BM today and I am thinking about getting some regular prune juice for her...or should I stick with Gerber prune juice?? Any help would be great as I am heading to the store to get some shortly.
