LOL, You know that was one of my questions, when I was pregnant with my first!
My nipples about doubled in size, got really dark. As for where the milk comes out of, there are several little hole all over the tip of your nipple, at least mine were. It was actually kind of fun watching them get all pumped out when I was breast feeding. I hope this was helpful and answered your question.
Best of Luck! and Congrats!

There's a hole in your nipple. Always is, it's just very tiny. And it will remain tiny even when you feed your baby milk. The milk sprays out in tiny sprays like from the nipple of a baby bottle.
You wont see an actual hole. Nipples seem to have 'cracks' in them, but there are holes near the center. The milk comes out through there.
Don't feel silly. I had all those same strange wonders my first time around too! If you don't ask you'll never know!
Some women get a little colostrom(pre-milk) leaking as early as 20 weeks. I was waking up during my first pregnancy at 20+ weeks and having a little dried spot on my nightgown or pj's, so u may leak a little premilk early, then u will see where your nipple hole is, because there will be dried milk there. Sometimes a little crusty looking, lol, gross i know..but u asked!!!

No big hole! haha! Congrats to you also. I am 8wks with my second, I remember wondering the same sort of stuff! Buy preg. mags, they tend to explain almost everything to you. As for the nipples, they will change, the areola will get darker, you may develop little bumps around the nipple, all normal. The milk comes from the tiny little holes in your nipples, my milk did not come in until after my first was born, so I did not quite understand the process untill then! It is not one stream, but many little streams, much easier for little babies! I do recomend you get some special cream for your nipples closer to your due date. Buy the mags, read up on it all and enjoy the process!!! If you are really concerned, see your doctor, or midwife. They will put your mind at ease! Congratulations again!!

You probably wont notice the holes in your nipples until you are producing milk. If you squeeze your breast, you will notice that several streams of milk come out of many holes throughout your nipples. They are really tiny, like skin pores, so you dont really notice them. Unless you are shooting milk out of them, they look the same and the holes are invisible. Dont worry, its not a silly question, I wondered the same thing too before I became a mom

Your nipple comes ready equipped to feed your baby. There are many little holes that the milk will come out of.
I started leaking a littel bit around 7 months... it only lasted a couple weeks. It usually takes a few days after you give birth before your milk comes in... before then you have colostrum.
This might answer some more questions.

You will not produce milk for several months. Personally, I am on my fourth pregnancy and never produced any. Oh well. But, you can expect for your nipples to get quite a bit larger. Mine also went very dark. They have never went back to normal. To tell you the truth, my oldest is almost 14, so I don't even remember what they looked like before children. Congrats on your baby.

This is my fourth pregnancy and I have never produced any milk. But what I understand is that there are holes in the nipple. Once you deliver you can squeeze the breast and droplets of milk will come from the nipple. The milk is produce in glands within the breast. Congrats

They don't have visible holes in them... As you get farther along with your pregnancy they main turn darker and you may notice more prominent veins in your breasts. Your breasts will also become larger as your'e pregnancy progressess.Near the end of the pregnancy you may begin to leak a little bit. They sell pads that you can put in your bra for this, check wal-mart and stores like that. Hope this helps. Email me if you have anymore questions. I have 3 kids, so I have been through it before.

Basically, there's a serious of ducts throughout the breasts, ending at the nipples. There's not a "hole" per se, but a bunch of small pores that the milk exits the body through.

The holes are there, you just can;t see them. Later in your pregnancy you may start to produce colostrum and you'll see then that they are there.
