First, you slow down- put a few pauses in your thoughts...
You don't have to buy milk for your little one, breastfeed- it's far better for you and baby, and you will find it much more convenient.
When you find out the sex of your baby, you can go out and buy clothes to match it's gender, but really, in the first few weeks, all they need are babygrows and vests. You can buy these in neutral colours now.
You can childproof everything, but honestly, until your little one is crawling, there's no need to- (s)he won't be able to reach anything until they are mobile- look into babyproofing from about the age of four to six months, to give you time to buy and get used to those things before your really need to be using them.
What happens if you can't take being a mom? Well, you have a cry, get it out of your system and you talk to your doctor/health visitor to get your thoughts in order. It happens to pretty much all of us at one point or another, so relax. It's hard and tiring and exhausting, but sleep when the baby does, the washing up will wait...that was pretty much the only peice of advice I ever listened to and followed. The hormones in your body may make you think that you can't cope, but you will find the strength from somewhere!
You will be able to make friends when your baby is here, for you can go to mom and baby groups where you will meet people going through the same things as you and they will be able to help you...you could set up a little baby-sitting circle amongst these people too, so you can all get some 'me-time' which is important.
Sweetie, relax. All your fears and concerns are normal, and you aren't the only one ever to have had these thoughts.
Just remember that you will have a while new group of friends after you have your baby, and they will be the best friends you ever make, even if you are painfully shy, someone will come and talk to you.
Contact me from through my profile page if you want any further help, or just want someone to hear what you are thinking. I've been in your situation, and it's daunting, but in what seems like only five minutes, my daughter has been with us so long that she will be two this April. Time goes by so quickly with babies!
You'll be alright, even if you do think that you are worrying too much. It isn't as bad as you think it might be :)
Email me if you need someone to talk to!
Good luck and all the best!
EDIT: If you do choose to email me, you will have to alter your settings on your profile page to allow me to email you back, I just checked and you don't allow emails yet- just to let you know that if you choose to email me, You'll need to leave an address I can contact you back on :)

I'm 23 weeks now. The only thing i can tell you is to buy onesies, socks, receiving blankets, and the stuff that either a boy or a girl could use. I started buying that kind of stuff from day one. It would help to start now nad stop worrying about colors. Try greens and yellows, you know neutral colors. All babies have minds of there owns, he or she will let you know soon enough. Just be ready to give it all your love and support.

you don't have to child proof things until your kid starts being mobile - crawling.....and you should have thought about being a mother forever before you got pregnant. Lots of us do it without any help or a husband, it's a tough life even in the best situation. Stop worrying about the color of your new baby's clothing and start worrying about growing up yourself.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what the question is. It does help to buy things here and ther, I did with each paycheck. No need to child proof until about 7 months or when they start crawling.
Avoid useless things, like wipe warmers, bottle warmers, etc. also never used a boppy pillow.
And being a mom is great, congrats!

If you have that serious doubts about being a mom, maybe you should consider adoption. Or let the baby's father and his family help out

what do you mean if your baby doesnt want to open its legs?? Do you mean to determin the sex? I guess if he/she doesnt..I guess you have no choice but to wait right? Or you can buy unisex items until you know for sure!
