My husband and I are ttc. I know this may sound goofy but can you get pregnant a few days before you are suppose to start your period, and if so would you still have your cycle or would you miss it like you would had you gotten pregnant while you were ovulating?

Ive been flying off the handle lately, being way too oversensitive and irrational. Not just a little, but A LOT. and its mainly toward my husband. We got in a huge fight last night and I said some AWFUL things and at the time i really felt i meant it. Today, I am regretting it and looking back, its like it was someone else inside me, I wouldve never talked to him like that. He doesnt understand the hormonal thing and doesnt realize that even at 5 weeks I can be tired and having aches and pains. We talked about it but hes pissed! I dont want to be this irrational..its ridiculous! Was anyone else this bad and did your husband understand?

I am 31 weeks pregnant. Earlier I was weighing 152pounds. I have gained just 8 pounds total so far.
Is it OK? I am kind of worried.

We have been trying for the last 2 months to get pregnant. We have tried all sex positions and everything but nothing ever works. We want to have a baby so bad!!! Why isn't anything working?

My daughter is 13 and has never liked school. Recently though, she's stubbornly refused to do her homework. A couple of times, she has refused to go to school! She is falling really far behind and risks not graduating. I know she's nervous about going to high school next year. I'm just so worried about her. I feel like I've tried everything (grounding, removing priviliges, rewards, etc.). Anybody have any better ideas? Even just a little empathy would be appreciated!

I know i've got a while before I'll start out growning my clothes but I'm just curious if anyone knows where to get cute maternity clothes? And dont say walmart. I hate when pregnant women wear big baggy t's and sweats....I want to show off my belly not hide it. I really dont want to wear those ugly strechy pants and im not too crazy about the elastic top jeans, unless they are made well and look like regular jeans.

Just got back from my WIC appointment and instead of putting my son who will be one years old feb 3rd on whole regular milk ...they suggested i keep him on formula for another 2 months which i wanted to do anyways....The reason why is because he will not CHEW his food, he will swallow it whole so he gags and vomits unless it is easy baby food to swallow...he is obviously not ready....she told me instead of giving him baby 3 foods to just put whatever we make in a blender for him but me and my boyfriend have take out every night as its easier cause he does not get home til 9 pm.....so it baby 3rd foods just as good?.

I know someone is going to say go to your doctor, I have! But it doesnt seem like its a major concern to her!
I have been trying to concieve since March of 06', nothing yet!! I have 2 children already 2 and 6. Never really had a problem conceiving them. My AF was irregular for awhile, then all the sudden finally the last 3months, has been every 28days. But sometimes I will bleed heavily for longer then 7 days. The last 2 months my AF has been completely normal. I have not been stressing about the possibiltiy of being pregnant, like I said we have been trying, but this month my AF is 3 days late. Could it be that I am just off cycle again? I took a PG test the day before my AF was due. NEGATIVE!! I have no side yet, if I would be! Has anyone ever experienced irregular, then regular and then irregular AF's? If so what did you do to get it on track again, or is it something I really shouldnt worry about? My doctor doesnt seem to really have a concern about it! What do u think?

Hi,This is my frist pregnancy I'm 38 weeks pregnant expecting a baby girl,the thing is that recently i went to the hospital due to really bad cramping and i was told by the nurse that i hadn't dilate,why is it?I'm 38 weeks due in two weeks!I have a doctor's appointment today and i'm not sure what will happen,can anybody give me some advice,it would be really helpfull,thanx!

I do not know how to talk w/my teen nephew (14yrs old) who we discovered used marijuana with a friend yesterday - any tips or suggestions would really help! Am worried and scared that this will lead to more drug use (his mother is a drug addict) and I would welcome others' experiences with this issue. Thank you.

I know none of you know my son.. but hes only 15 months old and he can already pick up heavy mettle that you wouldnt think a child his age or size would be able to he throws things further than most kids... and for some reason he dosnt like watching cartoons all that much.. if you put him infront a tv and put cartoons on hes more likelly to walk away and try to find something else to get into.... but if you put eather boxing basketball or Rosane on then he'll sit there or stand infront of the tv... just in aww at the tv... so does anybody know the deal with that...?

was terribly upset. He does not want me to have the baby and I am just shocked. Through the last pregnancy he was very excited and anticipating the baby. I have talked to him but he is just shutting me out and saying he is trying to focus on other things. (I am as well but sometimes you just have to make changes!) I cannot bear to deal with the alternatives that he is suggesting but I cannot have this baby alone either. I have no idea what to do.

I have noticed one particular family picking up their child,instead of going to the line of cars by the side of the school, they pull up to the crossing guards and have their kindergarten son run into the street to get into their car then take off on down the road. I have witnessed him almost being hit on at least 5 occasions this school year. As this is a safety issue shouldn't the school being doing something. I work directly with the principal and she just shakes her head and waves her finger at them when they do this, at least 4 times a week, and then does nothing to stop it. Is there anything anyone can do about this unsafe pick up routine?

I have been trying to conceive now for alittle while. I have been off birthcontrol for months and months now... We don't protect. It's almost been a year...but we don't really count when i ovulate. I lost all my pre baby weight , but I can't seem to get rid of this sagging belly. It's like the only that hasn't gone away. I just want to tone my stomach and have my normal stomach back ( it doest have to be a six pack) Any suggestions... lipo or a tummy tuck is NOT a option.

My husband and I found out I was Pregnant in early January. Quickly after, I had a miscarriage. I was six weeks along, so the news was pretty devastating. However, I have a solid mind and I know that something just wasn't right. I also know that 40-65% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage (a staggering number). My Doctor told me that in the old days, most woman would not have even known they were pregnant, and would have just thought they had a late period and that it was heavier than normal.

So here is my question. She told me I need to wait another cycle before I can try to get pregnant again. They won't even let me have sex until February 7th. I know they are only trying to do whats best for me...but tell me...is this REALLY nescessary? I want to try again, and I want to try again SOON - I feel like I am wasting precious time!

Somebody give me the real scoop please. Thanks!

My 7 and half week old son has little white patches on the inside of his lower lip and his tongue. A neighbour noticed them this evening and said its thrush and I should take him to the doctor.

The problem is, our surgery won't be open now till tommorrow morning - is it urgent enough to call the emergency doctor or will he be OK till tommorrow morning? He doesn't seem to be in any pain or discomfort and he's breastfeeding ok.

Also, if my baby has thrush will I have any symptoms? I'm breastfeeding and I've noticed my nipples are a bit sore and itchy - is this because of the thrush?
