Pregnancy & Parenting - 22 January 2007

My first miscarriage took place in january 2005. My doctor told me that a first miscarriage is very common. My periods are very irregular..always being late by 3 or 4 weeks. After my first miscarriage i kept trying for a baby but with no result for about one year. After that my doctor gave me clomid for 5 days and one needle of pregnyl. i became pregnant the first month after this treatment.I stayed pregnant for 6 weeks before starting to spot. I had a miscarriage on December 4th 2006 and had a d&c on december 7th 2006. my doctor sent everything he took out of my uterus to the lab to do some tests and it turns out that i miscarried due to hormone imbalance.he said that i have a progersterone problem. since my d&c i only seen brown spotting the same day and since then i havent gotten my period.my dr said that i should wait 2 periods before he puts me on new medicine. my question is: is it normal to not be having my period yet? and what type of medicine or treatment can my dr give me?

My wife and i have adopted a wonderful 4 year old girl and will be adopting her in the near future. We have one couple who have really been our closest friends through thick and thin. We always had asked their advice on how to handle things about parenting etc. Although we could see that they had little or no control over their own 4 year old girl ,we thought they still might have some good info to share. My wife is a 5th grade teacher and although we have never had kids our outlook was good and we had plans on how we would handle discipline etc. When it came down to the families getting together it became quite clear that we'd be using things like "time-outs" etc. while they did nothing to stop their daughters bad behavior. They have since become very distant and I almost feel like they dont want to be with us because it shows them what they are NOT doing to keep their daughter in check. I cant help but feel they think "we know it all" etc. is this common ?????

in any situation they found themselves in as adults? Meaning, single parenthood, living with their partner and their children without getting married, whether they were gay or lesbian, or any other situations that are routinely judged. If you weren't happy and or accepting of them in any situation, isn;t that basically saying I love you, with conditions?

I personally will be happy with any decision my child makes for her life if it makes her happy,in regards to her sexuality, her decision to marry or not to marry, decisions to have children or not, etc.

I was cramping like a week ago and i thought it was because i was ovulating but now I was supposed to start my period yesterday or atleast i thought so... but i have got kinda messed up on my birth control so im not really sure. Everytime i think i have started my period it is just this clear liquid or whatever, not blood. I was worried so i took a pregnancy test and it said not pregnant, but now im thinking maybe i should take another one. And, there is this spot on my right side in my lower abdomen that is sore when i touch it. I have no clue what it could be and I'm scared to say something to my mom because I dont have a clue what it is. Do you have any ideas?!?!?

my two year old sleeps in the bed with me and i juswt found out i am having number two. how do i get her to sleep on her own. She has been sleeping with me evr since she can home from the hospital. I don't what 2 babies in the bed with me. I have tried to let her cry it out but she cries for an hour and then makes herself trow up so i will pick her up. i feel like a bad mom letting her cry Help Please!!!!!!

i have a boyfriend how i know loves her to death.. but when he gets home from work.. this is like 3 hours after he gets home from work. and i ask him to go change her diper or soemthing and he just wines and comples then i end up doing it cuase he just acts like a little kid.. what should i do.. he does not help vary often with her.. what can i do to get him to help out more.. i have asked him sevale times to help out more.. but like i said before he just wines and complaes about it..

Has anyone experienced a period during their pregnancy? I think I might be pregnant2-4 mths, but the test are negative and I have my period(which is not regular). My mother had her period for 4 months in to her pregnancy with me and I was wondering if anyon else has experienced this. These are my symptoms:
I had fatigue for almost 2 mths
nauseau
nipples sore almost painful, not breast
my stomach is getting thicker and am not eating anything more than before, actually eating better
clothes are starting to get too tight

If I'm not pregnant then maybe a tumor or sist?

my husband had a vasectomy about 2 years ago. we then didnt ever think we'd want children, now we think we might like to have at least one. what can we do to get pregnant? having a reversal costs so much but it may be our best option. i dont want a donor or fertility drugs. we want to have a natural conception. what are the chances that we could get pregnant with his vasectomy and no other protection? I dont know what to do! please give any advise you have on the matter. Thanks!

When my 7 yo son watches football on TV which he loves or watches anybody play video games on TV which he also loves, he gets so excited and he jerks his arms and also moves his hands constantly, as well as rubs them. Could this be a form of autism. I've always suspected him to have a mild form of it. Other reasons I think so is because he talks to himself all the time and can entertain himself for hours alone. He also still is a "head beater" but only at night or early morning which he started when he was old enough to lift his head. He's never done this during fits. He was also a bed wetter for the longest time and last week he urinated while wide awake in the car and didn't say anything. Can anybody help me out or can anybody relate? Thanks.

Abcnews, had a survey dealing with this topic and I just can't see where it is right for the government to tell me how to discipline my child or children. What does your baby look like right now??? Jus curious. My baby has a huge head with black spots where the eyes will be and has webbed hands and feet. Also has a tongue. Has a heart beat now!!!! Cant hear it yet though, and other organs and forming!!!!!!! I'm excited! :D

my 5 year old daughter has a speech problem which she is getting speech therapy for but i think this is affecting her confidence as she does not have many friends and sometimes plays by her self. We have had to moved around a lot so maybe this has not helped.

ince i had my baby ( 7 weeks ago) things with my husband are just getting worst and worst by the minute, when i was pregnant he was the sweetest man ever, he answer to absolutely every question i had, he took me every where, and he wanted my opinion on everything, he made me feel like i was very necesary to him, now since i had the baby he thinks that i dont have necesities like taking aminute for myself, even halfan hour, without the streess of been a mommy, he actually tryes to do reverse psycologyon me all the time when i tellhim that he needs to at leas take halfan hour with the baby when he comes from work , due to the fact that is me that gets up at night, and take care of the baby all day long, sometimes i dont even have time to shower, i'm very youg too, i'm 19 he's 25 , but he has a litlle girl back at colombia where we are from, the mother of the girl is 27 and when they had her thay used to live with themother of the lady and her sister, so he never had to do anything
