What does your's look like???

Question

What does your baby look like right now??? Jus curious. My baby has a huge head with black spots where the eyes will be and has webbed hands and feet. Also has a tongue. Has a heart beat now!!!! Cant hear it yet though, and other organs and forming!!!!!!! I'm excited! :D

My baby's face is looking more human now even though he/she is only about 2-3 inches..the eyes which have started on the sides of the head are moving cloer together now and the ears are almost in there normal position.The baby squirms and moves ,kicks and moves his/her head although u may not be able to feel it yet (I feel the flutters =)..The baby has also aquired more reflexes, touching the palms makes the fingers close, touching the soles of the feet makes the toes curl down and touching ...U can hear babys heartbeat on doppler now.The fingers and toes have fully formed and seperated..The external sex organs have formed and are noticable in determining if its a boy or girl although ultrasounds have a hard time seeing at this stage..My baby is a fetus now! yay! Im excited too =)

My baby looks like a very skinny little growing baby. The skin is still transparent but the fingers are not webbed anymore. You can see the veins throughout the head and black dots where the eyes are forming or have formed.

At first I was quite shocked by your description - none of my babies looked like this when they were born.

However, after re-reading the e-mail I realized your were talking about a fetus.

You can visit various websites that show the development of your baby and compare the growth of your baby with the pictures.

Also, there is a fantastic program on the Discovery channel where they have made models of the fetus inside the womb, it is lots of fun to watch and extremely interesting.

This sounds horrible but it looks like the alein from aleins the movie. Big head huge black holes for eyes. It has everything it's supposed to have. I cant wait to see what it actually looks like when it comes out. I love to see my alein ultra sound picture It makes me use my imagination and at least I can see what it's skeleton looks like.
I am 20 weeks along.
and yes everything is normal, I just didn't get the deluxe ultrasound.

Exciting isn't it? I was just as excited as you were too! As a matter of fact, I'm still just as excited! I'm a lot further along than you are though (37 weeks and 5 days). My baby is now fully developed. I can't wait to meet my little prince!

mine actually looks like a human now:)
the head is normal, got a good shot of his penis, and has long legs. That was at 17 weeks though
i am 24 weeks now

They look like little alien blobs on ultrasound - this is how they were last week:

Their little hearts were beating so fast on the ultrasound monitor! According to most descriptions - they've lost their embryonic tails by now.
