Unfortunately, you'll always have the sagging skin there. Think of a balloon...you blow it up and deflate it and it won't have the same tautness as before. Women who don't have a sagging stomach have either had work done or have really awesome genetics! I have the same problem...back to my pre-baby weight but I didn't have the tight stomach anymore. However, what HAS helped is core training and/or Pilates. It really has firmed up my mid-section, even if I will probably NEVER feel comfortable in a itty-bitty bikini anymore! I definitely have to work much harder than before, but I can see a difference. Good luck!

First- Congrats on losing the baby weight. I too had a c section 5.5 months ago and I still have 20 pounds to lose :-(
The muscles you need to target are the transverse abdominal muscles- the simplest exercise is called a plank. You get into a position of doing a push up (no knees touching the floor) and then you suck in your abs and hold for as long as you can, and try again. You should feel something the next day- be careful and make sure you keep your back level and straight- if not you will wind up with a back ache from arching your back.
Any tips on losing the rest of the baby weight? I gained 58 pounds and lost 38- but the scale isnt budging!! I am going to join WW- I hope that does it!
Good Luck!

I've had 2 c-sections and it's hard to get the sag to go away. Also, it takes awhile, give it a year before you really start to worry. Remember, there are many layers that need to heal and get back into place. I do a lot of stomach exercises and keep my weight down. It hasn't totally gone away, but it seems better.
Every morning I do one hundreds (Piliates), I also do crunches and I do elbow to the knee opposite to work on the side stomach muscles. I also do push ups, when they are done properly, you are also working your stomach muscles.
My first c-section was 8 years ago, 3 years I went to Mexico and wore a bikini. The second c-section has been harder to recover from, I had twins, 20 months ago. But, I'm working on it!
Good luck!

There is an excercise that is not hard or strainoues and all you have to do is repeatedly touch your toes then waiste then reach for the sky. Do this 20 times and two times a day.

I have the same problem. I had two vaginal deliveries with my first two children and my stomach went back to normal. After the birth of my third child, and first c-section, I have the same problem. I don't think it will ever go back to normal.

Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
