It is not recommended but you could ask her OB for guidance.

What exactly do you mean by cleanse? If a cleanse means restricting foods and nutrients and taking herbals then no it could be very harmful to the baby. I would speak with the doctor about options to treat gallstones during pregancy.

there is no harm in reducing fatty food during pregnancy infact it is healthier. vitamines and minerals are more beneficial.
now what to do regarding the gallstone.
the managment as follows: if there is no cholecystitis means no infection in the gallblader then nothing should be done untill the end of pregnancy.
mild disease can be treated with broadspectrum antibiotic.
sever disease mandate the sugery, although the risk of preterm labor is high with surgery ,though it is the last resort solution.

If she isn't in pain from the gall stones then she should probably just ignore them till after she has the baby, then decide what to do after the baby is born. Eating really fatty foods (fried stuff, fatty junk food) should be avoided though so she doesn't end up in pain from it.
