how far along are you. this is important to know i give no tips till i know but if your over 37 weeks sex nipple stimulation bumpy car rides house cleaning walking

Oh, I have wanted to know this question forever! - I tried ginger tea; red raspberry leaf tea; walking; spicy food; anything else you can think of and no baby yet - (the doctor did tell me that I could drink the teas as long as they were not decaf) - but the bottom line is that all those tales do not work - I have given up trying to bring labor and simply accept that he will come out when he wants to and he is ready as there is nothing that I can do. I know, the wait is awful - sorry no hope, good luck.

Walking a lot can do the trick. And yes, sometimes the contractions from having an orgasm can bring on labor.

Walking. Trust me. Go to the mall, it works. Or you could have sex, that works too. Do not try castrol oil. That just starts intestinal cramps, and you feel like you are in labor. Lots of Luck!!!

If you are overdue, your doctor will solve the problem for you. If you aren't due yet, stop trying to force the situation. I know it's bad--been there 4 times & the last few months are horrible, but.....honestly the work hasn't started yet & you'll be wishing you were still pregnant soon enough!

My doctor told me to go home and have sex! There is something in semen that causes your cervix to dilate. She also told me nipple stimualation, that's a whole lot more fun than taking castor oil!! Good Luck and Congratulations!
