I'm pregnant right now and live in a one bedroom apartment, Do I have a certain amount of time after the baby is born to move, or will social services get involved?

My baby refuses to take formula but keeps sucking her fingers. What should I do? I am afraid she will lose weight. Any suggestions will help.

I went to the doc in September about 2/3 weeks after I wouldve gotten pregnant and had a blood test done, it came back negative...but in Oct/Nov...my period was only 3 days and not very heavy and its normally 5 days for me...so, now its nearly Dec and i would be 10 weeks this week if i am pregnant...i have nausea, but its the FATIGUE that is killing me, i cant really function...could they have missed it? Could my levels had been too low at the time of the test? Could i possibly be pregnant??? Im confused!! Oh and I started BC pills in Oct and around the end of Oct and early Nov, they started making my period come RANDOMLY!! Seriously, so I quit taking them b/c i aint know what is going on! So, anyone wit a similar story, let me kno, im curious to know if i could be pregnant...i wont test till my period is missed for Dec, IF it is missed, if not, i wont worry about it. Oh and this strange inkling for a pickle and some Cookies&Cream ice cream, too...really dunno.

I just asked a question concerning this and I thought I'd rephrase and ask again.

I feel like my friend resents me. I had an easy pregnancy and I have two laid back boys--5 years and 10 months. Her daughter on the other hand is a "nuisance." I just don't know what to do!

She's said before that it's not fair because she waited so long just for a disappointment where as I have it pretty easy. Her family is falling apart over the birth of her daughter and I really don't know what to do! Has anyone dealt with this? Are there any suggestions? Any parents out there with advice from either perspective--my friend or my own? Thanks!

I'm looking for ideas of SPECIFIC toys that you've had success with around this age. Something he can play with while sitting on the floor, but that will grow with him a little bit or at least keep his interest for a few months (hopefully). Between the $25-$75 range and not so big that it takes up the entire living room floor. He already has an exersaucer & jumperoo and we're looking for a unique Christmas gift.

My parents do this a lot, but they say i won;'t understand till I get kids. my thought is, they say they trust me, but they really don't. not trusting other people is a part of life, and aren't I old enough (i'm 15) to make decisions regarding what other people do. and everybody i know thinks i'm at least a year or two older that i really am

I say no, but wife says it's more dangerous to say no because she may sneek .. (she's never done anything sneeky or dishonest in her life!). It's her first boyfriend. He's seems like a nice guy but the age difference, the body piercing, the smoking, lives at home, dropped out of high school, etc..makes me feel this is not a good idea. Especially for a first boyfriend at 16 yrs old. I need honest opinions please.

The last day of my period was sun., Nov. 19. After having intercourse on Turkey day I noticed that the head of the condom had ripped. I want to take a home pregnancy test but I am not sure if it is too early to get a correct reading. Please, if you are a GYN/OB, I need help asap. Should I take a home test or will it give me false readings?

If you are planning to have a baby, is there a way a special doctor would find out if your med probs or emotional probs would be passed on to the baby or not?

Because you really don't want it to.

My friend just had a baby three months ago. She's had a rough pregnancy (a lot of weight gain, morning sickness, and gestational diabetes) and now is having such a hard time with her daughter. (Not passing developmental milestones, not sleeping through the night, constantly cranky, etc..)

I personally had no issues with my pregnancy. I have a laid back son. For me it's been simple. I know how I want to parent--I do things based on what I know is right.

My friend is older then me (about 10 years) which I believe may be cause for her having such a difficult time. We have always gotten along great--she's a by the book person. Nothing seems to be easy for her whereas it's been great for me. We can no longer relate on things because of the differences. How do we cope? Is our friendship over for good? How can we relate again? Has this every happened to you?
