I heard that there was but my doctor didn't give me anything when I had my daughter. I know this may sound a bit crazy but in order to keep myself from being in pain after I had her I got 3 large ace bandages (like you would wrap your knee with). When I was at home I would wrap my chest with them. Not tight enough that it hurt but just tight enough it was supportive. Within less than a week the milk was dried up and I never had any pain. I thought this was a crazy idea when my cousin told me to do it, but trust me it worked.

Yes, but my OB prescribed birth control for me instead. She said that there is a risk of stroke with the pill that is just for drying up the milk. When I went on the B/C pill I dried up in just a few days.

While there is most doctor's won't prescribe it anymore. It was found in the mid 80s that alot of women that took it had side effects, and often when they stopped taking the medication their milk came in anyhow.

They usually give you a shot. It doesn't take that long for it to dry up on its own though. About a week or so. Ask your doctor.
