I give her her soother and rock her until her eyes clothes after feeding her about 4-6 oz and then I put her in the swing and she will sleep for an hour or two. IT helps if I put her to sleep in a room by herself, if I am around she wont sleep for long unless its overnight.

Give her a bottle, a bath, and wrap her up nice and warm and she will usually fall elseep. PUtting the blanket ends lightely over her face while im sitting iwth her and watching her works too.

She sleeps 9 hours throught the night now, and she does that because she knows that shes not going to get much attention if she stays awake. I dont neglect her at all, but when we first brang her home It was hard but i had to train her to sleep through by just giving her her soother and putting her in bed with me and going to sleep again she got no sitmulus so she slept through the night like her parents.

What also works is large feeds, if shes full shes going to be more tired, and cuddle her to sleep and then try putting her in a room by herself, if you do that already and she wakes up let her sleep out in the open where there is noise because some babies like noise as well. good luck.

check for a sleep pattern...my 3rd baby now 10 months...would sleep for so long every so often so i would know how to deal with her...also i would find a place she seemed most comfortable...at night if she wouldnt sleep i would leave her in the swing and let her cry until she fell asleep...during the periods she was awake i would keep toys around for stimulation little babies become sleepy pretty easily...if your baby stays up late you will probably have to keep him awake more before your bed time so he will sleep

I have a two month old as well.
During the day I breastfeed him whenever he is hungry, but evenings, I always breastfeed around 10 pm. I turn off the lights and anything that makes noise and he always falls asleep while eating.

I always nursed my baby to sleep (and no I didn't regret it later. She is 2 1/2 and totally weaned and learned to fall asleep without nursing when she was ready).

Do you have a swing? Babies love that rocking motion and make sure he is getting enough to eat. He will sleep longer if he is full.

Swaddle your baby with a receiving blanket. Then gently rock them to sleep. a bassinet, swing or cradle should work well for this. If you are nursing nurse them to sleep.
