when u lose your plug, is it thick and stringy? i lost mine this morning, but am only 35 weeks along. and also mine was more clear kind of yellow colored. does this sound like my plug?

yea it sounds like thats what you lost. Be careful not to work too hard. You dont want your baby when he or she isnt yet ready. Try to take it easy so you dont put yourself into labor! 35 weeks is a little early but im sure your baby will be healthy. Biggest worry would be the lungs. You should contact your dr and let him know you lost it and maybe he will start you on steroids to help mature babys lungs. Goodluck :)

A mucus plug can be clear with cloudy streaks, yellowish, greenish, pinkish, streaked with red...
Don't worry if it is your plug - most women will lose it 2-3 weeks prior to labor beginning.

Yep, sounds like your plug. Tell you doctor, but don't stress..people made me believe that I would have my baby the next day or something, lost it at 34 weeks...and 3 weeks later I was induced.

Tell your Dr. it sounds to me like you lost plug. The baby may be a little early.

Yep. Sure does. Please call your doctor. Although the baby may not come until 1-2 weeks later. I'd rather you feel safe than to worry.
Plus that is why your doctor is there for. Call the doctor.

Its normally like a pinkish- red color
