lol... I got pregnant ON the pill, with BOTH of my kids.
It probably won't take long once you quit. Your body's been eager to ovulate.
Happy conceiving! :)

I want to say something that no one else did. Before I do first you can pregnant anytime you have unprotected sex. Pill or no Pill you should be able to concieve right away, conception may not occure for several months, but you should be able to concieve right away.
You seem like a bright lady and no one has said this and understand I am being a parent here. You and your boyfriend want a baby. Are you both emtional and financial ready for the reponsibilities of being parents? Can you say with out reason that he will stay with you and support you and your children.
He has made no commitment to you. If he doesn't like the situation he could leave you and the infant high and dry. Wait and find someone who is willing to marry you first and willing to provide for you and the family you wish to have.

i hope you guys have been together for a LONG time. You should be married before having kids. I really hope you make him marry you before you make him a dad. Its just too unstable. You never know what could happen in the future, do you want to be a single mom? Better ask yourself that first because it is a major possibility! Anyways you can get pregnant at anytime after stopping the pill. I got pregnant with my first born while i was on the pill. As long as its a low dose it shouldnt matter at all. If its a higher dose birth control pill it could take a little more time, depending on how long it takes your body to get back to normal. Try having sex about 14 days after the first day of your period. so if your period starts on Dec. 1st, try having sex on Dec. 11,13,14,16 Goodluck :)

There are plenty of other things to consider when you are planning a pregnancy. Talk to your doctor before you even start trying. There may be lifestyle changes that you should make, like not drinking/smoking, you should start on a prenatal vitamin, especially for the folic acid. And i'm sure that there are other tests that some doctors will do on you and possibly even your partner so that you are more likely to have a happy healthy pregnancy. Oh, and about when you can get pregnant, you can right away, but i believe they suggest you wait a month or a couple months before trying. I'm not sure how long, talk to your doctor about that too.

It all just depends on the person... Many people experience irregular periods after going off the pill. Your hormones need to 'stabilize.' That time varies for everyone, after that its smooth sailing. Good luck.
