Well..... when will it end is kind of a loaded question! When SHOULD it get BETTER---- in about 3-4 wks. Try a few ideas to help relieve some of the "side effects" of pregnancy:
1. For the lightheadedness--learn to stand up more slowly. As you put more weight on, this will come naturally because you just won't be able to get up quickly, but for now, always sit up straight before standing, maybe stretch your arms above your head a little bit to get blood moving, then stand up. Also be sure you are drinking lots and lots of fluids, particularly water. Dehydration can make you feel faint and being pregnant makes you more apt to dehydrate.
2. For nausea, try small meals/ snacks all day long rather than big meals at mealtime. Also my lifesaver was candycanes or peppermints. Anytime I started to get nauseous I would pop one into my mouth and suck on it. The sick feeling went away for a couple of hours before returning, but hey, a couple of hours is better than none at this point, right?
3. For the fatigue, well... other than brief naps and going to bed earlier, I don't know about that. I know that a brisk walk is supposed to help too, but in my case it just made me more exhausted afterwards. I'm 24wks now and still really tired all the time, but I am also working fulltime and chasing a 2yr old around, so I think I'm just stuck with it this time around.

I had a good first pregnancy, but this second is horrible. I had really bad morning sickness all day long for about 6 weeks at the end of my first trimester. I am about 14 weeks now and still get sick, but not near as bad. You should start feeling better as you get further along. Your body just has to get used to you being pregnant.

Been there. You can talk to your doctor if you want- there are medications for morning sickness. As for feeling like you're going to pass out and being tired, that could be a normal pregnancy symptom or you could be anemic. Have you been tested?
It usually starts to get better around 10 weeks and is pretty much totally better at 12-16 weeks.
I know it's so miserable. Just hang in there.

Im very sorry i know exactly how you feel. I had the worst morning, noon & night sickness is the first trimester. Mine was in the 2nd & 3rd month and finally around the beginning of my 4th month i stopped gettin sick all the time and started having normal days again. Hopefully you dont have to wait as long!!! Congratulations though!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if this will comfort you any, but they say the worse you feel the better the baby is. Meaning you have a good level of the hcg hormone in your body. It typically doubles every 48 hours, and the increase in the hormones is what can make you queasy and tired, because your body isn't use to it. It'll take some time.... but it will pass, just like the others were saying. Hang in there!

I felt that way too, but now that I am 18 weeks, I feel fine. My doctor told me it is normal to feel that way during the first trimester. Your body is busy manufacturing an organ--the placenta--which will be your baby's life support system for the next 9 months. Your body will be done creating the placenta by 12 to 14 weeks, and you will likely feel much better by then.
Get extra rest and sleep and eat as healthfully as possible, with extra protein and fruits and veggies. Make sure to avoid all caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, or medication (over the counter or prescription).

I'm sorry it's been rough for you - unfortunately it happens. Usually symptoms ease up as you transition into 2nd trimester (12 weeks) but sometimes they don't. Hang in there and keep thinking of the beautiful baby you're having.

Every woman and every pregnancy is different, but MOST women feel these unpleasant side-effects from early pregnancy let up in the second trimester.
Try to relax, and remember that more likely than not, it's only temporary.

I felt like that from 6-16 weeks, it sucks but I am 25 weeks now and feel great so hopefully for you it will get better before you know it.
