When you are pregnant it is normal to have an increase in vaginal discharge which smells a bit stronger than when you are not pregnant. So having a discharge in pregnancy can be normal. Having itchiness is not considered normal and is probably a sign of a yeast infection, which is a very common
The best thing to do is to contact your health care provider, doctor or midwife and have them check you for this and other infections. They can prescribe a cream for internal and/or external use to relieve your itching!
I do not advise you to treat yourself with over the counter medications before being seen by your doctor or midwife. There may be more than one infection going on in your
vagina which could effect your health and your babies health.
So get checked as soon as possible. If you are eating sugary foods, juices, and drinks, stop because this may be adding to your problem . Eat yogurt to get the environment in your vagina back in balance and do not put anything in your vagina, no sexual intercourse, no douching and no tampons until you get examined by your health care provider.

It is normal to have some discharge during pregnancy.
What you're noticing is probably normal leukorrhea — the odorless or mild-smelling milky discharge that you occasionally noticed in your underwear before you were pregnant. There's just a lot more of it now, partly because of increased estrogen production and greater blood flow to the vaginal area. This discharge is made up of secretions from the cervix and vagina, old cells from the walls of the vagina, and normal bacterial flora from the vagina.
You'll probably notice more vaginal discharge as you approach labor, although it's likely to look somewhat different from the flow you've become accustomed to. In very early pregnancy, cervical secretions filled your cervical canal and created a protective barrier — the so-called mucus plug.
As your cervix begins to efface (thin out) and dilate, it may expel this mucus, and you'll notice discharge that looks like egg white or mucus from a runny nose on a cold day. You may even expel the plug in one gelatinous glob. This discharge might be tinged with a bit of blood.
If there's a lot of thin, clear discharge, it can be hard for you tell if it's just mucus or if you're leaking amniotic fluid. If you have any doubt, contact your midwife or doctor.
Call your practitioner right away if you're not yet at 37 weeks and you notice an increase in discharge or a change in the type of discharge (if it becomes watery, mucus-like, or bloody — even if it's just tinged with pink or brownish old blood). This can be a sign of preterm labor.
You should also call your caregiver if you suspect that you have an infection. If you have an odorless, whitish discharge that's causing you discomfort such as itching or burning — or your vulva looks inflamed — you might have a yeast infection.
If your discharge is foul-smelling or frothy or yellow, green, or gray, you might have a different kind of vaginal infection or a sexually transmitted infection, even if you don't have symptoms of irritation, itching, or burning.
In either case, don't try to treat yourself with over-the-counter medications. It's important to first see your practitioner for a diagnosis to make sure you get appropriate treatment.

For one of my three pregnancies--absolutely my taste was affected. I don't know why but it was. And the brown line on the tummy is the negra. Here is what one of the baby websites says about it: ou have probably never noticed the pale line, called the linea alba, that runs from your belly button to the top of your pubic bone. It is usually the same color as your skin, but during pregnancy this line may darken (usually during your second trimester) and is then called a linea negra (Latin for "black line). This darkening is caused by increases in estrogen and progesterone, which in turn step up production of the pigment melanin, a condition known as hyperpigmentation. Fair skinned women show linea negra less often than women with darker pigmentation. And some research suggests there may be a link between linea negra and insulin. An old wives' tale claims that if your linea negra runs only to your navel, you are carrying a girl; but if it goes all the way up to the xiphoid (bottom-most part of the center of your ribcage), it's a boy. There is no way to prevent or erase the linea negra. However, if it bothers you, here's what you can do: * Reduce pigment changes by protecting yourself from the sun and avoiding bleaching products. * Get enough folic acid. Folic acid deficiency may increase skin discoloration. * If the line bothers you, try covering it up with some concealing makeup. Your linea negra will lighten within several months of your baby's birth, but for some women, it never completely disappears. Good luck!

The wetness is normal. The itching may or may not be. I would talk to your doctor to make sure you don't have a yeast infection. Also try pantyliners. They will help keep you dryer and perhaps less itchy. Good luck and congrats
