Pregnancy & Parenting - 20 November 2006

Day 1 of my cycle was Oct. 20th so I'm obviously due for my period, but it hasn't come yet. I got cramps last week, but after 2 days they went away. I tested Friday which was 11/18 and got a negative result. It's 11/20, no cramps, no period. My bbs are somewhat sore but no more than usual around period time. I don't feel pregnant, but I'm also really sick with a cold. Could it be the cold that's surpressing my period? Or is it possible that I am pregnant?? Should I be careful about what meds I take for my cold in case I may be pregnant??
Just getting sick of this waiting game!! Am I or am I not?!?!

now when she goes it is more pasty and you can see by her face when she goes like she pushes it out its not hard just soft pasty.is this ok for a 6 day old thankyou.

I've never took the birth control pill --- I would probably forget it. Plus there's chances you would get pregnant (So I have heard!) even if you were taking it. Now the needle is much simple, I believe. Once every three months. Yes, you will forget it once in a while but there's a chance you can start your period again. I was on it for three straight weeks and have missed two. I'm going to a hospital to check it out.

my doctor is not concerne that i havent conceived yet and wont send me for ovulaton tests, are the kits you can buy in the chemists, the ones you pee on like a pregnancy kit reliable or recording your temperature?? i know its only been 3 months but i want to know if its the breast feeding or me thats the problem

My son is potty-training. The worst time is when we are traveling and he wets in his carseat. Those things are such a pain to wash!! Sometimes it even leaks through onto the seat of the car and than all is lost, yuck haha. Any tips for these instances? So far I have made sure he goes potty before, and put a plastic bag under the carseat for extra protection. Anyone have any better ideas? Thank you in advance!

I dont know how my daughter survives on what she eats. Each meal she takes a few bites of each food and then she is done, she still drinks her milk and juice so I know she is hydrated. She use to be a pretty good eater, but now even her old favorites arent working. She has four teeth coming in now and has a bit of a runny nose (colds are going around due to weather changes). I try to feed her healthy foods (lots of veggies, fruit, cheese, and beans). I have heard about this age being picky and not too interesed in food. Any one gone through or going through this now? Any ideas on how to handle this? I'm a first time mom so this is all new to me. THanks so much.

The last two months I have been getting shorter periods my last one in Oct. was only 3 days and came three days early and my period this month was 2 days and came a day early both of them weren't very heavy and no cramps. I had cramping a couple of weeks ago but very slight ones. Normally my periods are a full 5 days and heavy along with cramps, but I am just curious as to why now it would change. I have considered pregnancy but the only symptom I have towards that would be slightly sore boobs and frequent headaches other than that nothing. Please let me know what you think, my periods are very regular and to the T...

I was due for my period on november 14th and it is now the 20th of november. But around when My period was due, I started to get at first a redish brown blood when i wiped then it stopped after i did so and then nothing the next day and the day after that when i went to wipe i got brownish pink spotting and it went on for a few days and it was pink!I know this is not my period..trust me, they are very heavy. could this be implantation bleeding? I mean I have noticed that I have been very very unusually moody and my spouse has noticed it big time. my nipples are sentive when they are touched and sometimes at night before i go to bed i feel a little nausiated at times. could i be pregnant or is it somthing else?

A mother was kicked off a Delta Flight for breastfeeding her baby and not covering up.
Do you think they should of kicked her off?
Was she in the wrong?
What do you think?




I am a breast feeding mother my self and I was shocked but not supprized by this. I do not think she should of been kicked off. Now my self when I feed in public (wich is very rarely) I try to be very discreate about it.

I am a 23 year old single father to a 3 (almost 4) year old boy. since the death of my wife when our son was 1, I have gone on under a handful of dates and so far.
One girl 'used' my son coz he is a cute blonde hair blued eyed precious boy and plays mom for a a few weeks till she got bored of it and off she went (i don't want to put my son in a position where there are these women walking in and out of his life and certainly not use him as next weeks fashion accessory) and 2nd
Something suddenly come up when i tell her i have a 3 year old little boy. ( i'm not going to hide the fact i have a son, i'm proud of my little man). I'm not sure i'll ever be able to date again afetr horrible experiences now? At the moment i don't really want to date, it not a big deal as i am focussed on raising my son and i hae him to think about first and foremost. But i keeping getting pretty much harrassed and told by people around me i need to start dating? I'm so confused.

if i had unprotected sex on 10/25 and my pd was due 11/9 today i believe i got my pd however it never came with cramps which it does very painful ones. this period doesn't look normmal, theres a lot of vaginal discharge compared to blood.i've also been feeling very dizzy the past few days since last week, tired, and headaches if i take a preg test would it affect the test, or should i wait afterwards? has this happened to anyone and they've been preg?

I went for my ultrasound and according to the mesurments I should be 5 wks. It looked like a black round hole. And they are telling me that it is too early to listen for a heart beat. From everything that I have read on the internet you should at least be able to see some white fuzzy stuff in the egg and could see the heart beat. I desperatelly need to know if anyone else has had an ultrasound that just looks like a black hole and what happened?

I had a miscarraige in feb and got preggy again in april, because of this miscarraige I go to doc often, atleast once every 2-3 weeks scared something will happen. I just asked a few questions here that made me really think about going back (pressure low down and pains and discharge) but i was just at docs last week and all that was going on was change in cervix (35 weeks preggy today) and have another appoinment in one week. Should i just wait unless its severe pain because baby will probably be o.k. I dont want doc to think Im a hypo, Im just scared.

Ok, I will try and make this understandable. I took my last b/c control Pill (end of the pack) On Oct. 21, (1 month ago). I got my period like I always did at the end of the pack. (withdraw period).

Since then I have been having Unprotected sex many times. I have taking one PG test but it was NEG.
I worried that I will NOT ovulate for months, I read it could take up to 6 years. Does that mean I will not get PG for a very long time?
Before I started my pill 4.5 years ago, I have regular periods, and they were not heavy/or I never had bad cramps.

SO I guess I am asking when should I expect my 1st REAL period? And when I do get my period does that mean I would have OVULATED? I have never gone off the pill to try and get PG, I have a 5 year old, and I was never on any type of B/C before I had her.

THanks, and I hope someone can help me, and this makes sense.
