Ok, I will try and make this understandable. I took my last b/c control Pill (end of the pack) On Oct. 21, (1 month ago). I got my period like I always did at the end of the pack. (withdraw period).

Since then I have been having Unprotected sex many times. I have taking one PG test but it was NEG.
I worried that I will NOT ovulate for months, I read it could take up to 6 years. Does that mean I will not get PG for a very long time?
Before I started my pill 4.5 years ago, I have regular periods, and they were not heavy/or I never had bad cramps.

SO I guess I am asking when should I expect my 1st REAL period? And when I do get my period does that mean I would have OVULATED? I have never gone off the pill to try and get PG, I have a 5 year old, and I was never on any type of B/C before I had her.

THanks, and I hope someone can help me, and this makes sense.

Yes it can take awhile for some people but others it happens right away. Me for example. There's no way to tell which way your body is going to act. I have gotten pg twice immediatly after coming off the pill. Sometimes your body is ready to start working right again immediatly and sometimes it takes a bit to get all that out of your system and everything to level out. I would give it 6 months before you start freaking out. Try charting your cycle and your basal body temp. Go to Fertilityfriend.com. That'll teach you what to do and keep track for free. You can also purchase a VIP membership which allows you to get more information and advise. Hope you get you BFP (big fat positive) soon!

It will just take a few weeks for your system to get back on track. I went off the pill and got pg. right afterwards, but misscarried and then got pg again a month later. It stays in your system for a little while, but it works out rather quickly. Beleive me, when you go off the pill, you could get pg.

I am a mother of two. I too was on a birth control pill for years. When deciding to allow nature to take it's course and desiring a child I literally threw my birth control pills out the window. We were relaxed and did not focus on becoming pregnant. We were in a mind set of being prepared for it and did not focus on it. We continued on with a regular normal sex life with one another and it just happened. With our second child we intentionally worked on it. This did not work. It took much longer. So in short....relax. Don't work or think too much on it.

It is different for everyone. There is no way to tell for sure in any one single case.
