Pregnancy & Parenting - 20 November 2006

My daughter is 19 months old and has trouble communicating. She says about 20 words and is more active physically than verbally. The doctor says she is fine but I am having the hardest time getting speech out of her. The frustration results in tantrums. Any suggestions to get her speech going?

ok here is my story. i had my period in spetember from the 22-24th which was lighter than normal, in october i had it on the 24th which was four days late and only lasted one day. i haven't had a period this month yet but i have been tired all the time, been getting headaches, the skina round my nipples has gotten really dark, my breast are tender to the touch expecially around the nipples, i have been sick to my stomach everyday for the last couple of weeks i am trying to figure out when my period should come this month and when i should take a pregnancy test....can anyone help me? serious answers please!!!!

I'm 15 and still a virgin. Frankly, I don't feel prepared to have sex. I'm afraid it'll be a kinda traumatic experience if I have sex now. Most guys my age only want sex for pleasure. I think I'm mature for my age, but I don't think I'm enough mature to get engaged. And it's almost impossible to love a man at my age. Many people say I'm childish because I'm not into boys as many girls my age, and for now my priority is is school, though I also love swimming and have many friends. I get along with my parents and my bro, and frequently go out with mom, she ikes those mother/daughter days and I think they are cool. My parents treat me with love, are understanding when I do something wrong and I like this, I dont see why I should fight instead of talking.
I'm happy, but so many other teens and even adults keep saying I'm childish, inexperienced, I don't act like a 3 rd millennium girl that I'm getting upset;.Much peer pressure. What's wrong with me?

I am very regular with my peiods yet I havent got my period since sept 19. I took 2 home pregnancy tests on 0ct 21 and they both were negative. The only time I ever missed a period is with my daughter who is 7 months old. Ive had no symptoms but is there still a possibility?

I had unplanned unprotected sex with my young, fit man a few weeks ago.
We didnt use protection as it was a one-off, raw spontaneous event.
I didnt take the morning after pill.

I have since come on my period.

Why did i not fall pregnant?
Both of us are young and healthy.

I am 22 weeks pregnant with twin boys and my husband seems very apathetic about this. since the twins will be our first babies we need everything and most times 2, but hubby refuses to be involved in shopping for them or setting up the nursey or anything. However at the same time he brags to everyone that he is getting twins? what is going on with this man? and how can I get him to be more involved in preparing for his sons? please only answers from parents....

decreased or my baby is going thru a groth period. cuz he's constintly nursing and he doesnt sleep as much. i know i shouldn't diet while BF but my intake isnt very low ( 1450) and it's much healthier then before ( veg and fruilts , meats and fish) . what's going on with my baby? should i stop dieting and excersiseng and go back to being a coach potato??

I know you cant tell if your pregnant by asking people online but im just wondering if by these symptoms, if its possible or not....i thought i was going to get my period the other day, i usually get a headache and lower back pain the day before i get it, which i had but then no period....i have been very tired and seem to be more hungry more often, i have gained about 1-5 pounds over the last 2 weeks...also every once in a while i feel a short little shooting pain either in my belly or lower back....anyone have any ideas?

is it normal for my baby gums to be black??
Question Details:my wee boy 15 months has got 8 teeth at the front top and bottom and he is cutting his back teeth.but where these teeth should be there is black under the gums. i am a 1st time mum and think this is abnormal but need to be sure!will visit a dentist tomorrow but need to know now so i know what to do!!! anything will help???? thanks

My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and still uses a pacifier and it doesn't look like she will give it up anytime soon. We have narrowed her down to only using at nap time and bed time, but if she doesn't have it at those times she goes nuts and cries. She will even wake up in the middle of the night in a panic if she cannot find it. We've tried the pacifier fairy thing and she seemed to be having fun with it until bed time came. Her doctor said she would outgrow it by now. What do I do? Any suggestions

If a woman can "decide" whether she wants to have the baby or not without the consent of the father and she decides to keep the baby do you believe that he should automaticlly be financially responsible for that child. Too many women get pregnant and decide to collect state aid and child support as if it's their profession. Not to babble, I'm pro-life. I just saw the question from the gentleman who wondered why he had no rights to prevent an abortion. I just don't know if I think the father should have to pay support for 18 years. Shouldn't he be given just as many choices as the woman? This is why people should not be having sex outside of a fully committed relationship.

i'm doing a debate on abortion in my school, and i am tottaly agenst it. I mean how can a woman have an abortion? there are many diffrent ways of dealing with a baby, if a mother don't want the child, she could give it up for adoption so another family can have the cance of wanting that baby for there own. I beleve abortion is murder. Killing an Unborn Baby is NOT a "Choice it is murder"

Mothers that are for abortion Why? When your baby has so much to give in this world. Abortion makes you the mother of a dead baby.

i'm asking this because i want to know what other people think. wright me back and tell me what u think men and ofcorse weman
men have just the same rights as a woman dose in this debate.
