So I talked to a nurse today about back pain in my lower back. I thought something was terribly wrong. She told me to stop stressing, rest and take tylenol if i needed it. She said it could be just that I'm getting bigger in the front and its pushing on my back. I'm 17 weeks and pushing out a bit in the front. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this. This is my first pregnancy and the nurse says its normal at 17 weeks unless you have bleeding, mucus or etc. Let me know. :)

My mom was pretty sure she ovulated right a couple days after her period when she got pregnant with me. Has anybody else ever heard of that?? Would I be more likely to ovulate the same way?

I noticed this weekend that my nipples became red, hard and sore for no reason. It's not going away. This is not normal for me. I never get my period (I'm 27) but when I did, usually my boobs get sore, not the nipples. They also stand up, like a mini rubber band is around them.

I took a pee test last night, it was neg. I don't get my period so I'm not sure when to take another test.

I don't have health insurance so I can't afford a blood test.

I've had extreme mood swings and cravings for over a week.

Could I be pregnant? (it's possible, I'm married and we do the pullout method)
Suggestions?

Help....i was on birth control for 6 or 7 years and now i have been trying to have a baby for a little over a year and i cant.... plus my periods are awful!!!!! then 2 months ago i took a test and it said yes( i was week 1/2 late) but then i started next day and doc said i never was pregnant.... and they wont check me to see if im fertile... i have no family history of this either.... everyone gets pregnant easily...im 20 so im not to old either..what should i do????

Anyone out there with expert advice, I am suppose to be nearly nine weeks pregnant, i did a pregnancy test and it was negative but five weeks before it was positive. i took the test five days before period was due and the test came up positive straight away and the line was very blue. i have had sickness but not every day, every few days, i have started to show and my breasts are swollen. I know this sounds odd but i am so confused, can anyone help?

ok im 38 weeks pregnant and my doctors told me last week at my 36w 6d appointment that my cervix was very long and closed and i didnt even ask her what this meant does any body know? i did a whole bunch of walking yesterday and plan on doing some today do you think i could be dialated some by wednesday which is my next appointment

My son has developed an intense hatred of school lately. I have taken away video games and television and the internet. This is not phasing him. He wont do homework and now I hear he is smarting back to his teacher. His father is around but not big in the discipline area as I have always held this control. I have asked my son what the problem is and he is telling me 5th grade is just too hard. I know better than that. His grades this last 1/4 were A's and B's and that was with minimal effort. What do I do? Who can help? Is this a psychological problem? A father problem? Has anyone gone through this and if so what did you do? Only serious answers please.

I'm 42 years old with 8.5 year old and 3.5 year old. I was DONE with kids because of my age and because I had 2 high risk pregnancies and 1 miscarriage. I've been nauseous for 1 week which subsides with food. I have sensitive nipples and have been lactating a small amount. It feels like my uterus is hardening. I feel PREGNANT! But the pregnancy test is negative. If I am not pregnant what on earth is going on? I've read about psychosomatic pregnancy, but can't imagine that since pregnancy has just not been on my mind: either the extreme desire to get pregnant or the extreme desire not to get pregnant. It just hasn't been on my mind at all. So, if I am not pregnant, what is going on? I really appreciate your ideas because I want to know why my body is going berserk! Thanks!

My 4 months son loses interest in EVERYTHING very quickly. He doesnt seem to want to play with any of his toys, he detests his swing and play mat and saucer, and even holding him and walking him around doesnt seem to keep him happy anymore. He enjoys a few minutes of being tickled and played with here and there, but he also loses interest in human interaction very quickly, so he spends a lot of the day crying in spurts of like 5-10 minutes, then stopping for a few, then starting again. he seems to be teething, there is a LOT of drool and he is gnawing on everything, but even after tylenol and orajel he is like this. so i assume it is boredom. i dont know what to do, im a first time mom and just moved 1200 miles away from my family. PLEASE HELP!

I am having trouble choosing a name. My partner doesn't like Kennedy because it is a surname. He also does not like Aniya because he has a cousin named Aniya.
