My mom was pretty sure she ovulated right a couple days after her period when she got pregnant with me. Has anybody else ever heard of that?? Would I be more likely to ovulate the same way?

Yes. Anything is possible. It is probably not common, but not impossible either. Women tend to have "women issues" similar to their mother and sister (if any). However, this doesn't mean that you would. You could try using a home ovulation test (although I personally find them useless) or charting your temp (which I also find very difficult)..however..other women find success in figuring out ovulation. You can also check with your cervical mucus. Right around ovulation it gets like egg whites. Often times you'll see EWCM online (egg white cervical mucus). Good luck.

Anything is possible because everyone has a different cycle. You should try keeping track of your ovulation , that might give you some clues.
And, NO not everyone ovulates EXACTLY 14 days after the first day of their period.

okay.. say you finish on day 5. so day 7 you have intercourse and sperm can live 2 - 3 days... so sure.. that is possible that she got pregnant that close to being off her period. ovulation usually occurs in a normal 28 - 30 cycle anywhere from day 10 - 18 so sure. Day 1 of your cycle is the first day that you start bleeding.

hope this helps.

Undoubtedly no longer. The first-rate technique to tell if you find yourself ovulating is to get the clear blue fertility display if you are trying to get pregnant. I bought one off EBay for a hundred and twenty bucks with sticks included. It tells you exactly if you find yourself ovulating and tells you high low and peek fertility although the first month it offers you numerous excessive days when you consider that it's getting used to your cycle. Now if you're attempting to not get pregnant I feel you must have the man put on a condom and also you should be on beginning manipulate. I hope my reply helped you.

Anything is possible. I've heard some women have gotten pregnant during menstruation. Keep track of your menstrual cycles and usually the midpoint is the time you are supposed to ovulate. But this might vary, depending on your cycles.

Yep I go pregnant that way. Right after my period I was ovulating and didn't know it. I'm pregnant now. 14 days doesn't apply to everyone. :)

Yes, not all women ovulate the same.....I have even heard that you can ovulate while you are having your period, so you should not have unprotected sex during your period....just in case.
