Pregnancy & Parenting - 20 November 2006

I guess most hospitals have this 'attatchment' to the bed, but I have been told you need to ask for it. I just dont want to deliver my baby semi-sitting ot laying on my back. I read that this allows for 30% less room for baby to come out and is not the easiest way to give birth. I have two older children, and although I delivered both of them semi-sitting...I now dont think it is the best way...PLUS my tailbone has been sore almost the entire pregnancy and I dont want to put extra strain on it. I am considering laying on my side or perhaps squatting...how does that bar work?

It is a Hebrew girls name meaning 'oak tree'. I like it, but someone suggested that because neither of the parents are Jewish, using a Hebrew name doesnt quite fit. What do you think?

I took my daughter out to eat Friday, before spending the night at her grandmothers. Saturday morning she woke up vomiting everywhere. I know it was the food because we all felt strange but she got sick. I gave her clear liquids all saturday, and some Fletchers (kids laxative). She would take nothing to eat. Sunday I followed the BRAT diet, she took a banana and moved bowels twice. I thought she was doing better and sent her to daycare on Monday. She was fine (still scared to take food) but is eating. After bathtime Monday night she moved bowels twice in 1 hour both times it was only liquid. Is this normal? How long will it take to resolve itself? I have not given her anyother medicine and dont want too. She is still taking plenty of liquid and a lil scared to take food but she does eat. What do I do from here? Should she attend daycare tomorrow????

Okay here is the scoop please help...I had a baby on june 27, 06 but it took me two months to find out i was prego with her..my periods have always been regular and normal..july-normal on time august-normal ontime sept.normal on tme oct-normal one day early... which my first day of my last period was oct.4 and ended on 9th then had unprotected sex on oct. 23 which i should have already ovulated..then my november period was suppose to start on Nov. 2nd but i went ahead and took a hpt and it was(-) then i went to the doc on nov. 6 and she said it might be to early then she gave me a urine test(-) ...nov. 6 blood test(-)...then i took another hpt on nov.16 (-) then i took one on nov, 20 (-) they are all coming out (-) and i dont know what to do..can you help? do you think im prego? should i call my ob doc? please help asap? tell me what i need to do please!!!

I've been friends with *Kerry for many,many years. She is like a sister to me. Recently she has started hanging out with this new girl, *Staci who is a complete idiot! *Staci smokes pot and already has a drinking a smoking problem. *Kerry has started to act just like her. They go out and drink every weekend. They nearly got into a wreck because they were drinking and driving. I can't just tell her parents about it, she would never forgive me, even though I'm trying to help. This new girl's mother lets them drink and smoke. I can't tell a counselor, because I'm home schooled.
And please don't tell me how stupid my friend is, I've heard that enough. My mom has warned my friends mom about how dumb *Staci is, but she says she trusts *Kerry to make the right decisions. We are only fifteen.

my 6 mo ald son was misdiagnosed as malnourished and never fed..but this wasnt true..contrarily his mother sufferes adverse health from over breast feeding him..childrens servises are still trying to prove a case against us dispite the obvious mistakes at the hospital where he was born on his birthdate,.during vivits to afiliated pediatricians,and when they made his deformedHEART to rage at 200-300+bpm ..had to have heart shock stoped due to being treated as malnourished without first confirming this was true..they all up our asses and trying to make a case but the hospital is in the wrong..what should we do to make them leave us alone?..and we are investigating suing the birthhospital already.that attourney is probono till payment received from winning otherwise no charge...but no money to get attourney about the childrens services..they wont leave even though they wrong twice still looking for ways to be right please advise..ohio

While in his Fathers care, my 7 year old sons grandfather was sapose to be watching him and he along with his 9 year old cousin ended up in the woods alone with BB guns? I am about 6 weeks pregnant. I have been having severe cramps and a sharp pain in my lower back that began about 16 hours ago. I am not bleeding. I didn't know if anyone else has experienced this or not.

I delivered a son by c-section 3 years ago, and ever since then I have had pain surrounding c-section scar. Doctors said I could have fibrous material surrounding it. Will this affect this pregnancy?

i took an hpt today,and it has only been about 2 weeks, maybe a little less, and there was one dark pink line that was negative, but then there was another one next to it which would mean it was posotive, but the second line was alot lighter. so does that mean it is posotive or negative, i am thinking about going and getting a blood test done. or waiting another week and retaking it.
