Pregnancy & Parenting - 20 November 2006

I have a 2 year old going on 3 next month, he is the love of my life and only child, but he is spoiled by grandma from my bf side of the family. There are times when he is so bad and dont listen I give him time out, there are other times when he tries hitting me and starts yelling as if someone is beating him, when he acts up i give him a spanking. is it wrong to spank him? why do i feel so bad when i disapline him???Help..,.

15 mths old cries for everything (really loudly) fights for things that aren't hers and screams if she doesn't get it. You cant touch her things,food toys etc. Is she too young to learn and understand?

I was told that while on prozac (20mg) you shouldn't breastfeed because it can cause brain damage to the baby. Now her pediatrician said it was ok, but another dr. said don't do it. I have put the breastfeeding on hold now as she is 4 weeks. I want to know what others think before I make up my mind on what to do. They DO say that breast is best. But......

We have tried multiple conferences etc, and nothing seems to work. Since the 2nd week of school, she has been convinced that he has a hyperactivity disorder and suggested I have a Dr. see him and have him treated for ADHD. I don't beilive in this medicated way of drugging kids. It seems as if she is picking on my son since I refuse to have this done to make her life easier.
This child is an angel anywhere else but school. Any ideas???

I'm pretty sure that this is the set I want to get, but I'd like to hear from experienced moms what you think of it. Does it seem sturdy and safe for a baby? In my highschool we each adopted an unfortunate child, mine wants a few things and the thing i chose to get him was pants, it says that he wears a size 20 (he is 9) and i checked oldnavy for size 20 but the website looked like it only went up to 18, i also tried walmart but that also only went up to 18? Where could i find him size 20 pants?

I am a parent now and although school is years away I have been thinking about my own upbringing. When I was in school I had friends who’s parents thought would pay for their kids grades, like 20 for an A 10 for a B and 5 for C. I brought this idea to my father and he said he would think about it but C’s would get no money. C’s were average and we were more than that. As a matter of fact if we brought home a C we had no TV or Phone privileges during the week until that grade came up and if you still brought home a C even if in another subject TV was gone even on the weekends. It made me work hard and do my home work and I graduated with honors. Why don’t more parents let their kids know that C’s and bellow are not acceptable? It is not just enough to pass you need to excel. And just passing should not be rewarded.

ciggerett extenters things? they look fancey and maybe his handed will stopp getting burned and yellowed. he is alway complaing about his yellowed handed. my sister tried one and liked ited!!! she did! my husband and my other kids will nott trie one. they liked the tasteyness of the cigs in there mouthed. i do to. i cannnot decide?????? maybe he should just by l0nger cigs???? i donnnot haved that problems. my malboros works fine.

She is on formula. I live in california and right now the whether is not very hot. If I put milk bottle to her lips, she sucks a little and then cries and if I put water bottle, she wants to drink a whole lot and that too very quickly as if she was very thristy. What should i do?
