Its very odd that you had a regular period so soon after you gave birth, a lot of women dont get a proper period for a couple of months and when you breastfeed sometimes you dont get a period for 6 or more months. You had unprotected sex on 23rd October and your last pregnancy test was only on the 20th November, so you wouldnt even be 4 weeks pregnant yet. The blood test I thought was always 100 percent correct, but you had it on November 6th, which would mean you would only be 2 weeks pregnant, therefore maybe there were not enough hormones in the blood to detect whether you are pregnant or not, but I dont think so because blood tests are very accurate. It hasnt even been a month yet since your last period so I wouldnt start freaking just yet, it is early days. Everything points to you not being pregnant. You dont say whether you want to be pregnant or not, but I get the impression you dont because you appear to be quite distraut about it. Whether you are pregnant or not there is nothing you can do about it. I think the only thing you need to do is wait. I know its hard because we all want to know now. Just because you miss a period even though your periods have been on a regular basis in the past it doesnt mean you cant miss a period....stress, not eating enough, being sick, taking medication can all affect your hormones which will affect your periods. I would wait for another couple of weeks and if the test still comes out negative, then go and see your doctor...maybe there are tests they can do that will determine what is going on with your body. Worrying about it will not make you get your periods. As a matter of fact worrying is probably the reason you periods are late. Try to relax a bit because you cannot change what has happened. Everything points to you not being pregnant. If you are really worried then go see your doctor now. I am sure you will be told the same as I am saying. It is not unusual for a woman to miss a period, a couple of periods for numerous reasons. Its all up to you and how worried you are. Go see your doctor if it is going to make you feel better because stressing is just making the situation worse.

I hope it turns out the way you want it to. Good luck.

You may be pregnant, but if you haven't had your regular period by December, make an appointment with your OB doc. If you are planning to take this potential baby to term, you will find out for sure usually 4 to 6 weeks after your 1st missed period. Newer hpt's are more accurate than that, but a blood test at the doc's is definitive. Get one at your doc's office after about 2 weeks, or the 1st of December in this case.
Most important..... See your doctor if you have any concerns or questions, and you can always ask for a blood test.

I think you should call your doctor.... it is unusual to be that late but saying that I was over 12 days late before anything showed up positive..... and did you have the same with your last baby you said you were two months before you could tell you were pregnant.....I would talk to your doctor but if you were stressed or have a big change around or just before ovulation that could put off your period for a few weeks or you might even miss one entirely.. good luck ..

well if a blood test came out - they are 100% accurate so i doubt that you are, but seriously if you think that you may be consult your doc
