Trust me, you need a lawyer. You have to go to the hospital and get all the records. YOU NEED A LAWYER!!! Then you need to sue the hell out of that hospital!!!

Suing anyone in your situation is not going to make your son get any better, it is only taking away the much needed attention from him that he so much deserves. I agree, you need to find a way to get CPS off your backs, but please go about it the right way, not missing out on any time with your son. Don't look back and realize that you missed out on too much. They are all a gift from God and on loan from Him, they don't stay small forever. I pray that the health of your son progresses. It is no ones fault, we all just want someone to blame for what we don't understand. As long as you know that you are both the best parents that you can be to your son, forget CPS.

Have your lawyer give you copies of everything they have regarding the case, and give it to cps. Ask to speak to the case workers supervisor, and you can explain to them what is going on, and tell them that the case is causing you unnecessary stress that you don't need while dealing with your child's health problem, and ask them to speed up the investigation, and get in contact with the hospital and/or your attorney.
