I've read the page talking about the points, but why are they important?

To encourage people to answer questions, besides just ask - and to encourage good answers.

You can cash in your points to purchase a life size doll of ME :) Everything is anatomically correct. You can make the adjustable action figure pose in awesome positions too.

You can only get the dolls for a limited time though. This is why so many people on this site are trying to answer as many questions as possible to earn those points. Trust me, the doll is WORTH GETTING THE POINTS FOR.

You're responsible for Shipping & Handling though. I'll pay for insurance.

They are not important really. Just for fun ---but you need them in order to ask questions of your own.
