Depends on the baby.
But normally from between the second week to the first month or so. I had my two in this routine within two weeks, and after two months up to eating every 6-8 hours.
It will all depend on your routine, and how much the baby eats per feed. Too little, and your baby will be hungry too soon, too much and the baby will get cramps. Usually about 100-200ml in the first month.

My daughter is about 15 months and has been eating a meal every 4 hours for several months...Meals every 4 and a light snack every 2...She doesn't eat much at meal times and it keeps the portions in check and ultimately it is very healthy...I eat the way she does and I am never hungry even though I am not eating as much as I used to.

Baby has a small digesting system in the body. They poop frequently as well as eating. Once their system develop at a point that they can absord food, that will reduce the time of feeding.

In other words, they get hungry soon because the food is not enough and when it is full, they have to poop. After all, milk is not a solid food, that is why they get hungry easier.
