I went to the doctor to get another sonogram bc they want to see was the baby ok. I went and they told me she weighs 5pounds and 5ounces. Is that to big or thats ok.

Ok I am 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant, and I have done lots of reading... the book "What to expect when you are expecting"... and its kiinda scaring me, the whole miscarriage section... so now I am worried about every little cramp or pain I feel.... does anyone understand how I feel... everyday I am thankful for a successful day... however its makinig me crazy... I know I shouldnt think about it, but with this being my first pregnancy I am, and I wish I wasn't... I am also thinking of happy things and wonderful things of how our (my husband, baby, and I) life will be... but the whole miscarry thing keeps creeping its way into my mind... so has anyone gone through this?? What are the odds of miscarrying??

I know the symptoms.... and I havent had any.

Can anyone give me some guidance or advice on how to get through these next 6 weeks??

ok here is my story. i had my period in spetember from the 22-24th which was lighter than normal, in october i had it on the 24th which was four days late and only lasted one day. i haven't had a period this month yet but i have been tired all the time, been getting headaches, the skina round my nipples has gotten really dark, my breast are tender to the touch expecially around the nipples, i have been sick to my stomach everyday for the last couple of weeks i am trying to figure out when my period should come this month and when i should take a pregnancy test....can anyone help me? serious answers please!!!!

Our 9 month old usually goes to sleep in our arms at night and we transfer her to her bed and she sleeps the entire night or if she wakes up she DOES self-soothe herself back to sleep. We have tried putting her in her crib when she is drowsy, but she just gets wide awake. She doesn't cry for us, she just is wide awake. I have been reading all this stuff about how important this is that we put her to bed drowsy----however this seems to work for us because we have a good sleeping baby. Parenting is different for everyone, I realize....but what long term BAD effects will it have later if we don't put her to bed drowsy? We really thought we were doing a great job with her and are SO happy with how she sleeps, but on the other hand, maybe we are doing something wrong? Thanks!

My family lives overseas and I live with my husband in a one bedroom, really small apartment in NYC. My parents like to visit but they do not ask me if it is ok or not and sometimes that is difficult for me, but in the past has somehow work out. Any way, the issue is that my parents want to visit me next April, I said let's
see what happens. Now, I am pregnant, due in April, and my husband and I are moving out at the end of June. I need to help him moving and we need to disoccupy our attic before I get too big. Therefore, my apartment will be a mess, the living room (where my parents sleep in a futon when they have visited us) will be full of boxes. Plus: the newborn will need space, and my time. My parents are sensitive and authoritarians, but I need to be comfortable with all the new changes of being a new mom plus moving. I dont want this situation to create problems with my husband,he is not as patient as I am. I want to avoid a family quarrel. They can visit after we move out

My dog Lax has complained for years about me sending my kids off to school and not sending him. He says that he is just as smart as any child and deserves the right to an education just like anyone else. He is highly intelligent, he helps my son with his homework and even files our taxes. Should I ask the school board to admit him or just home school him??

I was taking orthtricyclin lo for 3 months. Then last month I decided to stop taking pills due to side effects and my husband used condom most of the time except in the last week of my cycle (27th day onwards). But I havent got my period yet. (Today is 34th day of my cycle) I took pregnancy test. It was negative. Why didnt I get my periods? Is it normal to skip period after stopping birth control pill? Could I still be pregnant? Should I take pregnancy test again after some days? I appreciate help. Thanks

Im 35 weeks now and my body is starting to do things that are making me feel as if lil man is going to make an apperance soon, if he does will he be o.k? Im trying to take it easy but I am anxious b/c of all that is happening I hear 95% of babies born at 35 weeks are usually healthy and strong (maybe a little small) but my baby was measuring about 3 1/2 4 pounds at 29 weeks? how much do you think he weighs now?

ive seriuosly tried everything, different nipples dfferent bottles, juice, water, formula, breastmilk, temperature, warming the nipple, laying next to him as if i was breastfeeding, sitting him up and trying to give him a bottle.the weird thing is he would take a bottle until about 2 months then suddenly stopped. he is 4 months old, me and my ex split so i had to find a job. my parents watch him at night and he just wont do it no matter how hungry he gets...and if your gonna suggest anything ive all ready tried please DONT...any other help would be termendously helpful

We have a 2 year old Pomeranian that we've had since Valentine's Day 2 years back... He's our Practice Baby lol - We love him to death! - Needless to say we're NOT getting rid of him by any means... but whats a good way to make him involved and get ready for the baby? Hi I am just over 12 weeks pregnant and last week I had what I can only describe as a show when I wiped myself (very pale pink in colour). I'm fortunate to work in a hospital so I manged to get a scan & thankfully all was well with the baby. Nothing else happened all week, so started to relax. Then yesterday I had quite alot of browny coloured discharge which has really worried me, I'm not having any pain as such just a slightly dull ache. Should I be really worried? I don't want to come accross as paranoid!
